30. Why are you back 2

Annabeth finally opened her heart to Percy again, well her body I guess... uhm moving on...  Percy still hasn't told Luke that he's his dad but thats okay they have a long time. Annabeth still doesn't exactly trust percy yet, but if he wants to help support her, she guessed its whats best for Luke. Percy bought an apartment on the upper east side. He put the apartment under her name. So she has every right to kick him out if she wants. He's hoping to not get himself kicked out of course. He's in it for the long haul. Percy got a job even though he doesn't need it, Annabeth told him she wanted him to get a job as a just incase. He asked her just incase what, and apparently she's convinced that his swimming career can't support them for as long a he thinks it can. It of course can. He gets paid to just be alive essentially. Its crazy, but she's lucky he chose her. He of course he would never say that to her, and he did hurt her to get there. He feels lucky that she took him back and gets to wake up next to her. He loves her after all, which is good considering they're married. He smiled at the memory...

Right after graduation Percy took Annabeth for a walk on the beach. They had been dating since the end of their freshman year. Annabeth honestly thought he was going to break up with her, going to different colleges and all, but no, he got down on one knee instead.

"Hey Annabeth?"

"Percy I swear to all the gods if you're tying your shoe stand up right now." He stayed on the ground and she panicked.

"I was kinda hoping we could build something permanent together?" He held out the teeny tiniest diamond ring and she tackled him in the sand, kissing him. "Is that yes?"

"Yes!"

Two months after that night, he got the call. He was recruited to swim competitively for the Olympics, but before he entered the games a modeling company talked to him, they told him he could do his modeling career from anywhere. He accepted in hopes of going home sooner than he was supposed to.

Meanwhile Annabeth learned she was pregnant once he was already gone, unsure of wether he would come back. When the two year mark came around she took off her tiny diamond ring, and her promise ring, putting them in his empty sock drawer never intending on opening that drawer again. She would throw the dresser away before she opened that drawer. Of course that changed when he came back and she gave him a second chance.

When Luke was born his sea green eyes made her cry. She wished Percy were there, he was after all her other half, young or not, they were in love and he chose his career over her. He only came back once he could support her.

Present day...

Percy rolled over and kissed her neck.

"Percy stop, go back to sleep."

"Awe come on Wise Girl! Just one kiss."

"No."

"Fine." He wrapped an arm around her, and pulled her into his chest.

"Peeeeeeeercy... I'm tiiiIiired."

"I know, I can tell." She hit him with a pillow. "What!? You said it yourself!" '

"Just go back to sleep before you wake me up for the day." He peppered her face with kisses. "Fine! You win, I'm up!"

"Yes!" She slid out of their bed and went into their bathroom. "Come back!"

"You woke me up, so now I've got work to do."

"But its the weekend!"

"Buildings still get designed Perce." He gave her the seal eyes, and she couldn't resist. She laid back down. He
wrapped an arm around her, and kissed her neck. He nibbled on her ear.
