Based off that head canon with Nancy Bobofit.

Percy's head was in Annabeth's lap as she played with his hair and read her book. Percy was blabbing on about random things, making Annabeth laugh as she timed in every so often. Every time he heard her laugh he'd get this buzzing feeling in his stomach and have to resist the urge to kiss her.

"Why can't you be more loving like that guy!?"

"Dude chill out—"

"Did you just call me dude?"

"Uhm—"

"Who is that? They're so loud."

"Just ignore them and go back to your book Wise Girl." She knocked his head. "Hey!" She leaned down to kiss his
forehead where she bonked his head with her book.

"Better?"

"I'm concussed."

"No you're not." He made his pouty face and sat up so he leaned against the tree too. "My legs are cold!"

"Thats what you get for bonking me!" He stuck his tongue out at her. She kissed his cheek and went back to her book.

"Nancy! Where are you going?"

"Away from you!"

"Yikes."

"—Excuse me." Percy looked up from his hand that was holding Annabeth's.

"Yeah?" He was not happy to be brought away from his girlfriend.

"Hey you would you tell him— Percy!?"

"Yeah?"

"Perce you know her?" Annabeth was understandably confused.

"I uh—" He looked at the red headed girl with splash of Cheeto dust freckles and he realized who was staring at him.

"Nancy?"

"Oh my God! You just like fell off the face of the Earth!"

"I actually got expelled, but sure."

"Perce who?"

"This is Nancy Bobofit."

"The girl who threw food at Grover?"

"Y—yeah." He looked back up at Nancy.

"What are you doing here?"

"Its a public park." She seemed to blush. Annabeth couldn't really tell since her whole face was already covered in red spots.

"What do you want?" Annabeth wasn't happy they were interrupted.

"I uh— I wanted to prove a point to—" She turned to where her boyfriend had been. "What?" Percy didn't mean too but he laughed. Annabeth elbowed him.

"Ow!"

"Be nice."

"I am!"

"No you're not." He made his pouty face. She kissed his cheek, forgetting Nancy was still there, watching them.

"—Anyways. We should get coffee." She twirled a piece of her hair, causing Annabeth to get protective.

"Yeah, that sounds nice actually. Lets go." He stood up and took Annabeth's hand, he kissed it as they walked across the street to a coffee place.

"So how have you been these past what... six years?"

"Oh well I've been good. How about you?" Still twirling her hair in what seemed to be a seductive way they sat down.

"I missed you." She squeezed Percy's hand across the table. Percy was confused to say the least. Annabeth looked down at him trying to move his hand away and had to contain her laughter.

"Oh. Well thats nice to hear. I don't get many people to miss me." He laughed and used the hand that she was holding to scratch the back of his neck.

He waitress came over and Percy and Annabeth both ordered blue milkshakes. Well Percy ordered Annabeth a blue milkshake really. She kissed his cheek and Nancy felt something boil in the pit of her stomach. Here's this chick he clearly hasn't known as long as Nancy being lovey with him.

"We should do dinner sometime..." She shot Annabeth a glare. "Just the two of us." Luckily Percy caught on.

"Oh..." He looked at Annabeth who was practically seething. He kissed her hand, relaxing her. "Annabeth and I are pretty busy these days, but I should be able to get back to you at some point.

Their coffees came, and Percy didn't shut up about Annabeth even though she was sat right next to him. He told Nancy stories of adventures they had— leaving out the demigod side of course— and how she asked him out and how badass she is, in attempts to send her a clear yet subtle message to back off.
...

Percy paid for the drinks and they walked back to the park where Percy laid down in Annabeth's lap and went back to their day. Nancy tried to talk to them more but Percy fell asleep, 'accidentally' and Nancy said a quick bye to Annabeth.

Annabeth kissed Percy's cheek. Percy smiled in his sleep and Annabeth finished her book.
