76. Meet Percabeth 12

"Gentleman, put your hands together for... Wisdom's Daughter!" We all cheered and whooped. She's my favorite... exotic dancer.
"Whoooo yeah shake that thang baby!" She did her dance, and I gave her a fifty. Yeah, I'm that cool.

Wait a second, you don't even know who I am. I'm Peter, Peter Conaway. I come here anytime I can. Wisdom's Daughter is by far the most intriguing dancer here. Just looking into her eyes I can see so much and yet so little. I've had the biggest crush on her for like two months. My friends keep telling me to ask her out, and I have a deadline... tonight. If I don't get a date with her tonight, they're gonna ruin my life.

We kinda sorta made a bet that if I could get a date with Wisdom's Daughter, than they'd have to buy me all my beers for a year, and if I don't... oof I don't even want to think about it. A/N: No I am not too lazy to come up with an idea... it's just like four am and I don't feel like it.

When a guy came in with black tousled hair and sea green eyes, I immediately felt threatened. The way she looked at him I was ready to stab that shit eating smirk off his oddly perfect face.
"An— Wisdom's Daughter... uhm, Estelle wanted you to have this." He handed her a bead necklace that had a piece of coral on it.

"Oh Estelle wanted me to have this?"

"Well yeah, I don't care." He looked away blushing.

"And this couldn't wait Seaweed Brain?" Seaweed Brain? Is he a stri— a dancer too? It would make sense, look at the guy.

"It was an emergency!" She wrapped her arms around his neck, and I felt the need to step in.

"Hey W-Wisdom...'s daughter, I uhm just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your... presentation today."

"Oh, thanks... stud." She ran her finger up and down my chest. Seaweed Brain's jaw tightened, and his eyes burned into my core. "Seaweed Brain, calm down, alright?"

"Fine, but still I don't know why you had to take this stupid job anyways..."

"Perce, I told you already, dad won't pay for my school."

"I'd rather take on your student debt than let you get objectified like this a day longer." She... she leaned in and kissed him.

"I know, but soon it'll be worth it."

"I really have to disagree."

"You're just jealous, but honestly, you have no reason to be, you get to see more, and for free." He smirked and then seemed to realize I was still standing there.

"So are you guys like a couple?" 'Perce' slung an arm around her waist protectively.

"Yeah? Whats it to ya?"

"Its just I need to take her out on a date."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh no, no no... No. I made a bet with my friends that by tonight I'll have a date with you and if you don't agree, I'll lose any bit of dignity I have left.

She turned to the guy and they seemed to have a silent conversation.

"Fine. You can take me across the street to the deli. Percy comes."

"Perfect." He still didn't let go of her until he ordered.

"So... you're in college?'

"Yep."

"You're engaged too!" Percy cut in. She glared at him.

"Yes. As of right now I am, but we'll see..." She kicked him under the table.

"What are you studying?"

"Architecture."

"Thats cool, my dad owns a firm."

"Really? Which one?" Her eyes brightened as Percy's jaw clenched even tighter. 

"Long Island Architects."

"No way."

"Way."

"Thats pretty cool."

"Thanks. My father would be flattered." She laughed. "So anyways, did I mention that part of this bet is that I have to sleep with you?" Percy spit up his drink. "I can be pretty wild... In fact if you wanted to use some of your moves on my pole—" Percy stood up and looked like he was going to kill somebody. Most likely me.

"Nope. Nuh uh, you do not get to talk to her like that!" He cracked his knuckles and I knew for sure I was a goner. 

"Percy its fine, I've got this." She put her hand on his chest, and he deflated, like literally, his puffed up chest sunk a bit, his shoulders went back into a more relaxed manner. I thought I was safe until I looked in her eyes, they

"Y-You're not gonna..."

"No you Seaweed Brain." She kissed his cheek. "Listen here. I will not even go anywhere closer to you then we are right now. We felt bad for you, all honesty, we felt bad, so thats why we agreed. Now you can pay the bill. Don't you ever come near me again." She took Percy's hand and dragged him off.

So I guess thats Percy and Annabeth... cool.
