85. New Years

Percy rolled over and almost smacked Annabeth who was already up, and on her computer, checking emails, and sending edits to those below her. She took off her glasses and smiled at Percy who was happily watching her work away with his head on his hands.

"Good morning Wise Girl." She closed her computer, and scooted down to his level so their noses were touching.

"Good morning you goofball." She kissed his nose. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to his chest. He feathered her entire face with kisses. She giggled as he tickled her.

"Why were you working!? Its—" He grabbed the alarm clock on his nightstand. "Its seven in the morning on New Year's Eve! And you say I'm the goofball." She squirmed as he moved on top of her. He kissed her neck and felt her finally relax under his touch.

"Percy I wasn't working I was checking emails."

"From...?"

"My secret boyfriend."

"Oh okay thats fine. As long as it wasn't work." He nipped at her ear. He kissed her neck and marked her as his own.

"Percy! I can't have them in places that Thalia or Piper can see! You know they're coming later!" He sighed and nuzzled the crook of her neck.

"You're no fun." She groaned and tried pushing him off of her, but his grip on her waist only tightened.

"Percy we have so much left to do before everyone gets here! Come on!"

"No..." He whined and buried himself in her hair.

"Percy I'll let you make the food blue?" He smiled and she could feel it on her shoulder. She knew she won. "So come on! Lets get going." He groaned and kissed her as he sat them up.

"What can I trade for just five minutes of your time?"

"You can have all my time while we finish setting up for tonight." She gave him a lingering kiss that left him chasing her lips. He sighed, stretched, and groaned. All the while Annabeth was taking in his abs.

"Like what you see there Chase?"

"My secret boyfriend has better." She sauntered away.

"I know its all fun and games but you are joking right?" She shrugged and went to their kitchen.

"You'll never know." He pouted as he sat down at the island she was setting the ingredients up at. "Are you helping me or do I need to call my boyfriend to help?" She smirked. He stuck his tongue out in response.

"I'd like to meet the guy, but in the meantime I guess I can help."

"Thank you." She gave him ingredients to make guacamole, and when she gave him the avocados she kissed his cheek mailing him blush.

"I'm hoping in the shower okay?" He nodded as he sat down and let out a groan of relief as he turned the TV on. "Alright then. You have fun."

"You too Wise Girl." Percy sipped his drink and leaned his head back, tired after a long day's work. She rolled her eyes at him, he clearly didn't understand what she was saying.

"Percy." He turned his head.

"What?"

"I said, I'm taking a shower."

"Don't slip I... what?"

"You big doofus come on." He followed her and let her drag him into the shower.

Soon after he was dressed, Percy was back on the couch, his drink warm now, when he heard a knock at the door. He groaned as he stood up.

When he opened it, he was delighted to see how early Jason and Piper were.
