AGAIN!! VERY OOC I REPEAT! OOC OOC OOC OOC!!!! (Out of character)

"Come on man! Tell us about her!" Percy looked around to make sure no one else was listening.
"So Rachel is honestly a beast. She gives great head, and sometimes I think she's better than Annabeth." When Percy met his boys' eyes and saw that they were widened he had a feeling something had happened behind him.

He slowly, and dramatically turned and was met with watering gray eyes.
"Crap, Annabeth wait!" She turn and ran."Annabeth come on baby, wait up!"
"Why would I do that?" She turned and met his eyes. He found this to be much worse than running after her. He couldn't stand seeing the hurt in her eyes.

He walked up to her and held her cheek.

"I am sorry."

"For what? Cheating on me? For saying Rachel is better in bed then me? What? What is it this time?"

"I—" She didn't let him finish before she got in her car and drove off, almost spitting mud at him.

Thunder rumbled and a downpour drenched him. He had never really gotten wet whenever he was in the rain, but it only seemed fitting that he got wet now. He tried to convince himself as he walked home, Annabeth being his ride, that he didn't do anything wrong, that she shouldn't have been listening in on his conversation, that... she shouldn't break up with him. Why shouldn't she though!? He said horrible things about her, even when she wasn't there to hear them. He's supposed to love her, but there he was telling his group all about this other girl he fucked. She has every right to be done with him.

He got to his apartment and sat down on his bed. He listened to the rain and turned towards his wall, where a guitar sat. It was his guilty pleasure, no one, not even Annabeth knew he played it. He had always put it in his closet whenever people came over. He figured a good way to get his emotions out would be to just play whatever his fingers decided they wanted to play. So he sat up and grabbed the guitar.

His hands started playing sad songs, then love songs. When he played the wrong note an idea shot itself into his head. He figured he has nothing left to lose with her if this gives wrong so why not?

He grabbed his guitar, threw it into its case and grabbed an amp on the way out the door. He hopped in his car and drove to Annabeth's building. The rain seemed to have picked up but that wasn't going to stop him. He pulled up and he thought he might vomit from nerves. He didn't know why he was nervous exactly. It could be that he had never played for anyone ever, or that he risked losing Annabeth forever.

He parked his car, pulled his amp out and plugged it into the one outlet thats in the trunk of his car, and placed it on the roof where he was standing with his guitar. He took a deep breath, double checked his strings and plugged into the amp. He started playing Peter Gabriel's 'In Your Eyes'. (I'm in pain writing this but I really thought I did something when I just didn't. Nobody asked for this, not a soul but I have no ideas that I like right now so here we are.)

Annabeth heard the music from her kitchen and as she walked to her window in her room she thought 'what idiot would be playing this song?' Until she saw Percy out there, in the rain, playing the song waiting for her to notice him.

"Percy!?" He looked up at her, and her heart melted. When he finished the song he took his guitar off and climbed her fire escape to get to her.

"Hey." He said breathlessly.

"What are you doing?"

"I- I'm sorry."

"You can play the guitar?" He blushed and nodded as he shook the water out of his hair. She shouldn't forgive him but she couldn't help but think about how cute it was that he did this, and he did it for her. "Are you done being an idiotic
boy?"

"Yes."

"What about Rachel? Are you done with her?"

"Yes."

"What if you stray again?"

"I won't." She kissed him. The rain drenching both of them, neither cared. "I love you."

"Good, because I love you too." He held her as they spent the rest of the day talking, kissing and joking around. He stayed until the sun went down, when she sent him home to get dry clothes and not catch a cold.

A/N: Holy crap I hate this so much I cringed so hard writing this. Nobody asked for it, so why did I write it? Also if this wasn't supposed to be like an eighties movie or if it was supposed to follow canon this situation would never happen. Like ever. I fully acknowledge that. Thanks for reading!
