27. Ocean Clean Up Place

So... there's this girl. She works at my favorite diner. No I won't answer wether she's the reason its my favorite place because it shouldn't matter. I believe that customer service plays a roll in determining a favorite place to eat. Uhm, yeah.

Today is the day I will ask her out. No I won't back down. She will be mine. The way her blonde curls bounce as she walks... or her tan skin, and her storm gray eyes. They hold secrets I need to unlock.

I'm going after work tonight. I work for this random company it doesn't matter. We do sea life stuff. Like clean the oceans and wash ducks with soap after an oil spill. Boring stuff. There is this one guy who's like overly excited to help with the oceans his name is Percy Jackson. He's a freak! He talks to the animals like they can actually understand him! He's so weird. Not to mention all the weird stuff that happened around him. Things just explode! Like he'll walk past a fire hydrant and it will burst! I swear no matter what room he's in the pipes make noises like they don't like him. He's always looking around like something is about to jump out at him! He must have like paranoia.

Anyways back to me. Oh shit! My name is Flynn. Flynn Roads. I'm what you might call... HOT. Thats why I know this diner chick wont say no to me. So... yeah. I'm kind of a legend. I was the captain of like all the sports teams but I'm a nice guy I swear, like I work for that ocean clean up place! If I'm not a good person why would I work there?

Anyways Jackson was late today and it was alike the fifth time this week! What a loser! Sure I can see how some might find him attractive but come on, look at me! He's so getting fired today!
"Jackson!" Our boss poked his head out of his office. Jackson picked his head up and saw my boss's face and went into his office. This is it! He's out of here! Finally! I hate that guy.

To celebrate I'm gonna go see my diner girl! I hop in my car, and I see Percy Jackson, again! Why isn't he gone yet? He was legit just fired! I hope...

"Hey Flynn! You headed to the diner?"

"Yeah I'm gonna go see my girl."

"Oh cool, my girlfriend works at that same diner!" He pulls out and speeds off towards the diner. Great. Its fine. Its
fine, once I see her and her storm gray eyes, I'll be back to my happiness.
Here's the plan: I'll walk in with my confidence, and I'll kiss her. I'll take her back to my place and she wont want to leave my side. Boom! It can't fail!

I get to the diner and there she is. Okay here we go. Deep breath, turn your nerves into confidence, lets do this! Another deep breath, mouth spray, okay. I walk up to her.

"Hey, normal table?" I hold her by her hip and pull her lips to mine. She pushes me off. "What the hell?"

"Annabeth guess what!?" Percy Jackson of all people came out from the back and interrupted our moment.

"One sec Perce." She grabbed my wrist and flipped me! How... how did she do that?

"Whoa. what happened?"

"This bastard kissed me is all."

"Oh." Then he kissed her! He kissed my girl! "Did he do it that well?"

"Nope." How dare she kiss him!? Does she not realize that I'm who she's meant to be with?

"Whoa there diner girl! You're my soulmate! You're always so nice to me, y-you flirt with me!" She turns to Percy and they have a mental conversation and the both of them burst out laughing! They laugh at me! "What!?"

"Hey Flynn, she uh, no, she wasn't flirting with you bud, she was just trying to get tips bud." She hugs him and he holds her waist. "No hard feelings though. I get it she's awesome!"

"Oh shut it Seaweed Brain."

"Hey, I'm just trying to make the poor guy feel better."

"You got fired!" He smiled again!

"Nah man. I was made assistant manager, thats why I came, to tell Annabeth about my promotion." He kissed her cheek. She blushed! I should be the one making her blush.

"I'm not worried. You don't scare me Percy, she will be mine you enjoy her while you can bud." I turn and leave. She will be mine. Thats a promise.
