17. After Tartarus Part 3

A/N: This was never supposed to happen, the part 3 I mean, but something weird happened with part 2 and it didn't save anything past 473 words so this is more part 2 of part 2. Like nothing happened in it so here we are.

Annabeth POV

"Walk me to architecture?"

"Of course." He took my hand and we walked to the art wing. Along the way we stole a glance here and there, and some pecks to the cheek. Eventually we made it to my class, and he had to leave.

"I love you, I'll see you after class?"

"Nooo I don't wanna leave you."

"I know but you have Marine Bio, that's your favorite thing!"

"It's not at all what I thought would be." He made the irresistible pouty face, and my insides melted.

"What did you think it was going to be if not studying the life in the ocean?"

"I thought they were gonna bring in the animals, so I was excited because I don't get that many chances to talk to them and find out how my dad's doing."

"Awww Seaweed Brain, did you really think they were going to bring in something like a whale?"

"Well maybe not a whale but like other fish. A-and don't talk to me about the fish in the tank in the classroom, we did not get off on the right foot... fin." The pre warning bell rang. Oh, what am I going to do with this adorable seaweed brained boy?

"There's nothing we can do right now so go before you're late."

"Don't I get a kiss for good luck?"

"Come back alive Seaweed Brain and then we'll see." He dragged his feet off, and I went inside the classroom.

"Good morning Miss Chase, thank you for the private viewing into your life..." I turned beet red and sat in the closest seat

"Wait so she's the bitch whose dating Percy Jackson?"

"I guess so."  I turn around and look at them.

"Yes I am, that Bitch why does it matter?"

"Oh uh we just uh...—" I shake my head and turn around.

I'm looking at the clock, I've never in my life wanted to get out of Architecture so bad, I hate being without Percy, and I have this sick feeling somethings wrong. When the clock reads that there's 10 minutes left, the phone rings, the teacher rolls her eyes and answers the phone. She looks at me while she's talking to whoever is on the phone.

"Miss Chase?"

"Yes?"

"You have to go to the front office, your father is here to pick you up." What would my dad be doing here?

I head to the office and see Chiron talking to Percy outside of the office.

"C-Chiron?"

"Yes, hello child. I have some matters to discuss with you both."

"Okay? What is so dire that you had to pull us out of class?" He walks us out the doors and sat us down at one of the picnic tables.

"Percy has been asked by the gods to go on a quest." Both Percy and I loose the color in our faces. "He was requested to go with Jason and Nico."
