A/N: So... it's been a hot second since I've updated this book...sorry about that— it's also been a second since I've read BoTL so just don't even mention the whole Moonlace shit, okay? It's been so long I had to look up what it was called— anyway enjoy this...whatever it is (Obvi not beta read) :)

Annabeth loved nights like these; just her, some friends, and the love of her life around the campfire chattering like they were normal people with normal baggage, and normal lives.

Percy's hand on her hip was like an anchor, keeping her in the moment, and relishing the way her friends' faces crinkled as they laughed and smiled.

Across from her, Leo leaned into Calypso's face and kissed her cheek. Annabeth wondered if Percy noticed...based on the way his hand squeezed her hip, he did.

"Are you okay?" Annabeth looked up from her head in Percy's lap.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Dandy."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, for sure." He reassured her, leaning down to kiss her forehead. His lips lingered for a second before he sat back up normally.

"Pipes, truth or dare?" Leo asked.

"Dare." Piper never does truths so it was a pretty predictable answer.

"Kiss me." Leo said, fluttering his eyes towards her mockingly.

Piper stood up, and kissed Leo on the cheek, earning laughs and shouts from the other members of the circle but Annabeth kept her eyes on Percy, the way his face stayed indifferent.

"—Okay, okay I'm next!" Calypso stood, a little tipsy, and slurring her words a tad. Annabeth had decided not to drink for Percy's sake, knowing his aversion to alcohol and how he really didn't like it when she drank, even though he'd never say it.

"Alright, Cal, truth or dare?" Percy asked, running his hand up and down Annabeth's torso.

"Truth!"

"If you had to choose anyone in the circle to kiss right now, who would it be?" Rachel asked, quick with a truth on hand.

"Percy." She answered without hesitation, and as if it was obvious.

Percy's hand stopped moving and his hand clenched Annabeth's hip.

Annabeth sat up, intrigued by her answer.

"Cal, I'm right here..." Leo trailed off, trying to hide what he was feeling with laughter.

"I know but the question was who would you kiss in the circle who is not Leo."

"No it wasn't." Piper said.

"It—It wasn't?" Calypso stuttered.

"No. It wasn't."

"Oh, oops!" Calypso said it as if it was a simple mistake as she sat back down and took a swig of her drink.

The fire became a darker almost purple looking color, and Annabeth stood up and walked off.

"What's her problem?" Rachel asked, also slightly tipsy, drawing her words out in an accent akin to a southern one.

Percy stood wordlessly, and followed Annabeth. He jogged to catch up to her, and wrapped a hand around her elbow to grab her attention.

"Beth, what—?"

"You never told me what happened on her island." Annabeth blurted.

"What?" Percy's face felt hot, and nausea was working its way through his body.
