A/N: Honestly, took way longer than I was expecting to write this— For context, it's an AU where they're all childhood friends and essentially everything is the same, but they're mortals and Percy was never kidnapped and I formally apologize to any Rachel stans, but I gave the slander a break but I'm back on it now 😈

"You fucked him?" Annabeth tried to keep the anger out of her voice. After all, she and Percy hadn't been dating at the time.

"Yes, but I didn't want him to turn sixteen and still be a virgin. I was doing him a favor." Rachel kept her tone small but strong.

"Do you still have feelings for him?" Annabeth pushed.

"It doesn't really matter now." Rachel tried to ease Annabeth's anger.

"It kind of does." Annabeth pushed.

"It's not like I can act on it."

"Does Lila know?" Annabeth whispered loudly.

"Of course not, I just started seeing her. But it's like you want her to know." Rachel's tone started to fill with anger.

"Why would I want that? So you could actively pursue my husband?"

"Fiancée." Rachel corrected.

"And of course you're choosing the night before I get married to tell me this, and why would that be, Rachel?" Annabeth felt like she was fourteen again, paired up with Percy and Rachel during the scavenger hunt, and having to let Rachel guide them since she was selected as team-leader.

"Because I can't, in good conscience, be one of your bridesmaids and not have complete honesty between us." Rachel urged.

"But you're perfectly okay with blowing up the trust between Percy and I?"

"Hey, what he doesn't tell you is between him and you. I'm just trying to be a good friend."

"A good friend would let me get married without any doubts." Annabeth countered.

"Do you really want to marry a guy who lies to you everyday?" Rachel asked condescendingly.

"If it had meant anything to him he would have mentioned it."

"Maybe so, but if it really and truly meant nothing to him, don't you think he would have said something?"

"I'm done having this conversation, Rachel—I- I don't think I want to see you tomorrow either."

"You're kicking me out of the wedding?" A tear ran down Rachel's cheek.

"I'm kicking you out of my life." Annabeth's eyes prickeled, contradicting her otherwise stoney exterior.

"Beth—"

"Don't." Annabeth cut her off, standing up and walking out of the hotel room with her penis shaped cup.

Annabeth knocked on Piper's door, which was next to her bridal suite.

"Beth? Why aren't you asleep? You have a big day tomorrow?"

"I don't think I can go through with it."

"What do you mean—come inside." Piper pulled her into her room and sat her on the bed.

"What— what's going on?" Shel poked her head up from under the covers.

"Beth is having cold feet."

"They're not cold. They're quite warm. I just received information that warmed them right up." Annabeth shook her head through the frantic tears.

"What— what was the information?" Piper poured her a glass of water before thinking better of it at the sight of how much Annabeth was shaking.
