"Welcome to Lush, do you need some assistance in picking a gift?" A lady asked Percy, who was just curious about bath bombs. He wanted to make his bath blue. Or shower, if it'll work.
"Oh, I uh I am looking for a present for— m-my girlfriend." The girl gave him a once over.
"What kind of things does she like?"
"She likes a lot of blue stuff."
"Any scents she's a fan of, soaps, scrubs, ointments?"
"Uh she's not really into that kind of stuff."
"Okay... then what is she into?"
"Blue stuff."
"Uh huh. No other information?"
"She's not really all that familiar with all this stuff."
"I'm sorry but then why would you shop here for her?"
"Why can't she just find that the store smells nice?"
"She can, she can, then why didn't she come here herself?"
"She uh— it's an anniversary present."
"Oh! How sweet! How long have you two been dating?" The blonde girl ran her hand up Percy's arm.
"Uhm..." He took too long to think. "15."
"Years?"
"M-Months." Over a year then! Wow."
"Yeah we met when we were kids."
"Oh. I see. So you said she likes blue?"
"Loves it. Her mom makes these blue cookies just for her and her sister Estelle—"
"Aw! I'd love to meet your girlfriend!"
"Me too."
"Huh?"
"Nothing. So your blue selection?"
"We have blue hand sanitizers, blue soaps, blue bath scrubs, blue bath bombs—"
"Bomb!?"
"Yeah, bath bombs..."
"They explode?"
"Not really. You draw a bath and as the water fills you throw it in, and it fizzles like alkaseltzer and makes your bath smell all good."
"Oh it doesn't change the color?"
"Of course it does!"
"Really!?"
"Yeah. So if your girlfriend really does like blue I'd recommend the bath bombs."
"Sure I'll get her one."
"Which one would you like? There's big blue, and intergalactic, those will get the water really blue."
"I like the sound— she'd like the sound of big blue. I'll get her that one."
"Alright! that'll be seven fifty seven!" She handed Percy the bag. "Oh! Wait! Did you want that gift wrapped?"
"You do that here?"
"We can put it in a pretty bag with cute paper stuffing?" Percy stopped to think— on one hand his girlfriend isn't real, on the other, he's kept up this lie to this really pretty girl...
"Uhm no my— her mom is a master wrapper."
"Alright, have a nice day!"
"Thanks you too—"
