67. Complicated

Prologue:

Jason, Leo, and Percy all were living together when Frank, one of the original roommates moved out to live with his girlfriend Hazel. So... they put an ad out on Craigslist. Annabeth had just been cheated on actually. She had been living with her long term boyfriend for almost a decade when she came home one day and found him naked, in bed with another girl. To say she was heartbroken is an understatement. This was the guy she seriously thought she was going to marry! He just took her already fragile heart, and stomped on it.

Thus the search for a new place to live began. She was searching online and found an ad for a new roommate. In fact it was the only apartment close to her job, and seemed like a relatively adequate place to live. She answered the ad and met up with the boys.

"So... is there any reason you're on the search for a new apartment?"

"My current living situation isn't viable anymore."

"That means somebody died!" Percy whacked Leo in the chest. "Oof."

"What about guys? Will we be having to deal with guys filing in and out of the apartment at all hours?" Annabeth didn't know what to say. Were they asking if she was a slut?

"Uhm, I'm taking a break from guys as of right now..."

"Sweet! Lesbian roommate!" Jason and Leo high fived. Percy whacked both of them in the gut.

"Sorry about them, you'll get used to them." He winked at her and then Jason whacked Percy in the gut.

"Dude what are you thinking?"

"Alright, alright... Loft vote?"

"Loft vote." Jason confirmed. "I say no."

"I say yes, all the ladies love Leo."

"Dude we need to have a no nail rule."

"Ugh fine, but her friends are still available. End of discussion."

"I also say yes. So there. She's in." Jason huffed. Not that it mattered. Everyone knew he had a thing for Piper.

"Lets go tell her I guess." Jason stopped Leo. "What?"

"I just felt like hitting you. Lets go."

Percy walked back in first with his pearly white, award winning smile plastered on his face...

Present day...

"So thats it then. We're friends... end- of uh... story."

"Yup." She checked her watch as a way to try and get out of this awkward situation. "I should uh-"

"Oh sure, yeah go, go do that uh... that thing! That thing you have right?"

"Yep so... I'm gonna head out... I'll catch you later Perce."

"Yep. See ya Annabeth." He did an awkward snap into a finger gun thing. She went to her job as he crashed down on his bed.

That night he went to the bar that he, Annabeth, Piper,  Jason, and Leo all meet at. He also happens to be a bartender there. He doesn't really have his life together but its fine, he lives with Jason, Annabeth and Leo, so they help support him. They support each other really, they're there for one another when they need it.

Two months ago...
Annabeth had just been fired from her job and the boys took her out for a drink and Percy met a girl. Leo was also trying to go for her, so they were sort of fighting each other for her.

"Silena, I don't have a real job... and I live with three other people... how sad is that?" Percy pulled his seal eyes and pouty face on her. Annabeth was amazed at Silena's strength to resist it. Nobody in the loft can resist that face, its how he gets out of being responsible, practically everywhere.
