18. Truth or Dare

Whenever I was in a bad mood or upset in anyways, all he had to do was wrap his arms around me. Its my favorite thing in this fucked up world. He wraps his arms around me, and I sink into his chest. He'll rest his head on mine, and everything just feels right. His ocean scent, and sea green eyes, that hold all the seven seas. I get lost in them for hours. He makes me feel as though I'm good enough, no better than good enough, he makes me feel like as much as I hate to say it, a princess, Annabeth Chase is no Princess, unless she's with Percy Jackson, is it too much to say he's her prince? Yes. Okay. Anyways, I just love him so much, I can't even express to you what his arms feel like when they're around me. Everything wrong in the world is right again.
Which is why I hate playing truth or dare with Piper. She always haas us kissing people we don't want to kiss, or more... We of course have a get together tonight. I head over to Percy's cabin where we're all meeting up, since he essentially has the entire thing to himself.    

"Um Annabeth I think there's something you should come see..."

"What is it?"

"I uh well its less something than it is someone."

"Oh. Let me just let Percy know, I'll be right out." I walk over to the bathroom where Percy's showering, and shaving, just cleaning himself up really. "Hey Seaweed Brain."

"Yeah?"

"Rachel needs to show me something I'll be right back okay?"

"Do you want me to come?" I look over at Rachel, who's shaking her head so fast it might fall off.

"Uh no thats okay, you stay here, continue setting up, let Piper in when she gets here."

"Okay, love you."

"Love you too." I walk out with Rachel, who leads me to the beach. I see a figure, sitting on the log. I say the log because well its the log where Percy and I sit every night, watching the waves, and just enjoying each other's company. "Who is that?"

"He wouldn't say. All he said is that he came to see you." That's strange. I get my hand on my sword, ready to fight just incase.

I almost collapse when I'm met with his ice blue eyes, and sandy blonde hair. To be honest I thought I might vomit.

"W-wh-why?"

"Good to see you too Annie." He starts to come near me to give me a hug, when I pull my sword on him. "Whoa, slow your roll. Is this anyways to great your long lost lover?"

"You were never my lover. Nor will you ever be. Now why are you here? And how did you get past the gates?"

"Chiron let me in."

"C-Chiron let you in? Why would he do such a thing?"

"I've changed Annie, I swear, I'm a new man." I couldn't help but laugh. "Now, now, that's quite rude isn't it?"

"I just I don't understand."

"Well it was quite simple really. ALl I had to do was prove to Hades I was worthy of a second chance. I cleaned the halls, I swept the isle of the damned, I did everything they had Iapetus did." Iapetus... Bob... Oh my gods. I had always hoped he survived but... Who knows how long it will take for him to reform, if he ever will.

"B-Bob. You took Bob's job?"

"Yep. All for you."

"How is it for me?"

"Well I knew how much you missed me, and I hated seeing you in such pain, and well I thought I'd give you a chance to be with me. How old are you now? 17? Great! I'm still 19, considering I died at that age, so our ages aren't a problem!" I felt the vomit coming at this point. "We should have a date night! How does tonight sound?"
