Its been about a month or so since the whole tower of heaven incident, apparently one of Erza's old friends had heard of me via rumors around the resort and the reason i was so drained the entire time was because they had injected me with some sort of poison to drain my magic energy for a few days. As a result, i pushed myself too hard to the point where i had over exhausted myself, putting me into a small coma in order to make up for the amount of magic energy i lost.

Supposedly everyone was so worried about me, even Gajeel had come to visit me. He had left me multiple letters before leaving to go on jobs, and i guess Laxus would be back in town tomorrow which, coincidentally would be when i get off of bed rest.

"Hello, how are you feeling?"

"Ah Juvia! Nice to see you again! Im doing a lot better than yesterday haha..."

"Im glad, the salamander wanted me to bring you this, he said its your favorite meal" she handed me a tray with a plate of fried chicken and rice, along with a small beer. I grabbed my satchel and handed the girl 50 jewels, the extra 20 were for the trouble we had cause the rain woman over the past month.

"Go ahead and pay Mira for the meal and keep the rest of it, i cant imagine what that pyro must've put you and Gajeel through once you joined..."

The girl stumbled over her words, explaining how it was no trouble at all. I laughed and finished my meal quickly, afterwards I slowly rose from the small bed in the infirmary, i winced slightly at the sudden pain in my thigh. Juvia ran over and helped me to my feet, grabbing a pair of wooden crutches and helping me onto them. She carefully helped me down the stairs and into the main hall, once i was down there i was greeted by Gajeel, on the stage, singing.

"Heh now this I definitely remember"

Juvia helped me to a seat across from Lucy, Erza, and Gray, but next to Natsu. Once I sat down I was greeted with him linking his hand in mine with happy resting on the table, munching on a fish.

"You caught my eye, shoobeedoba~" I sang softly, my entire team looked toward me and stared at me with shocked faces. I looked at all of them confused, until Lucy spoke up "how the hell do you know his lyrics?" "He used to throw concerts every night when we lived in that cave, they surprisingly helped but me to sleep, thats how I remembered Gajeel when I had forgotten about him"

Suddenly the tune changed to something slower, softer. Although, from what I remember, he was always rather good at playing the guitar its just...singing wasn't his strong suit...obviously.

"Ive regretted it, everyday, shoobeedoba..."

That caught my attention.

"I should've taken you with me and protected you...shoobeedoba"

"Just...just like a big brother should...shoobeedoba"

"Im sorry, lil sis, shoobeedoba"

I couldn't help but slowly tear up, never once has Gajeel ever apologized to anyone...

He continued to strum the strings on his guitar, walking down from the stage, not singing another word until he finally had reached our table stopping and reaching his hand out toward mine.

"Im sorry...I know ya probably wont forgive me but-"

I couldn't help but embrace him, even after everything happened, i missed him, even though it hurt...physically i couldn't help it.

"THIS IS SUCH A SWEET and very awfully sung...REUNION EVERYONE LETS MAKE A TOAST"

"Jesus sis never woulda thought you'd become an alcoholic"

"I-*hic* had to cope with the trauma somehow hehe"

"Tch youre such an idiot."

Gajeel walked me all the way back to Fairy hills, leaving me to go change by myself  before tucking me into bed.

"Hey...*hic* did I ever tell you *hic* anyyyything bout my parents?"

"All you told me was that you were originally from- HEY DONT FUCKING ASK ME QUESTIONS AND FALL ASLEEP"

Gajeel looked at the h/c haired girl and smiled gently, something he'd never done infront of anyone.

He'd made multiple mistakes in his life, but the one he regretted the most, was abandoning you...

That night before he left, he swore it would never happen again.
