Part one-chapter eleven: let the battle begin!

Once i got backstage I saw Lucy there as well, panting and out of breath.

"You forgot didn't you?"

"Yeah...what entry number are you?"

"I think I'm the second one, how about you?"

"Fourth, oh there goes Max, good luck n/n!"

"Good luck to you too Lucy!"

I grabbed my satchel and went to the bathroom, i changed into a red lace style bra with black leather shorts that i had found lounging in my closet from about two years ago. They fit me a little tight but it felt fitting with what i was going to perform.

Once i was finished touching up I grabbed a large overcoat that went down to my knees, it was the same design as my usual one except it had red lining and completely black. I returned to the back of the stage, and sat up against a few empty boxes to wait for Max to call my name.

"Alright now for contestant number two! One of our youngest and hottest s-class wizards, you know her, you all absolutely love her, Y/n L/n! Or as you all know her, Our beloved chain user!"

I smiled gently and walked out, waving to the crowd in front of me as they whistled and cheered for me.

"Alright Y/n, whaddaya have planned for us today?"

"Well as most of you know i spend most of my free time training but, i also like to 'dance' if you will. So today i put together a small routine, with a bit of help from our lovely Mirajane"

"Alright the floor is yours!"

I quietly thanked Max and waited for him to leave the stage, I listened for Miras cue and began to slowly remove my overcoat, letting it slip down my body to reveal the outfit I had changed into earlier. This morning I had asked Mira to play a sultry song on her bass, she happily agreed and we spent a good thirty minutes practicing.

Just when she strummed two louder beats I sprouted two chains from my hands and waited to hear the clank of the chains wrapping around the beams supporting the ceiling. After i made sure they were secure and used my upper body strength to raise me up higher, i then detached one of the chains from my hand and spun around while laying in the air while arching my back and poking out one of my legs. I then proceeded to wrap my leg around the chain, then i let go of the chain.

Multiple gasps were heard throughout the guildhall, hell I think i even saw master stick his hand out ready to use his magic to catch me. Until they all saw me stop sliding, I smiled at the crowd and used the chain to spin me as quick as possible all the while summoning a small chain into my hand, crushing it so it became a sparkly powder. While spinning I slowly opened up my hand, releasing the powder as I spun.

"Woahhh"

"That's beautiful"

Once the powder was gone I unwrapped my leg from around the chain and did a back flip back onto the stage as the music had stopped. Cheers erupted throughout as well as a few whistles and howls, i smiled and bid a quick thank you to everyone and went toward the audience.

I found the Master standing next to Natsu and decided to sit down stand by them, i put the coat back on but leaving it unbuttoned.

"That was...really something" I heard the dragon slayer say, I laughed softly in response and interlocked my hand with his. The crowd was huge and im sure everyone was too busy paying attention to the multiple girls onstage that they wouldn't notice little gestures like this.

"So me and my celestial spirits are gonna do a little cheer for you guys-"

"Entry number 8-"

"HEY WAIT A MINUTE I HAVENT EVEN STARTED ON MY CHEER YET"

I watched as Evergreen turned and lifted her glasses toward my blonde friend "wait Lucy don't look in her eyes!" I shouted, but it was too late I slowly felt anger overwhelm me as I watched the brunette girl laugh at what she had done. She explained to us how she had done that to every girl backstage, she then continued to ramble until a spark of lightning shot in the middle of the guildhall.

"Oh my god, NATSU!"

"Now let the battle of fairy tail begin!"

Natsu immediately got up and ran toward the door and was stopped by one of Freed's enchantments.

This was going to be a very long day.
