Part three-chapter twenty two: two years later (finale)

Lucy continued about how nice it felt to start going on jobs again since being pregnant, and it wasn't until Cana had appeared behind her and handed her their daughter that she stopped.

The two of us continued, going on about motherhood and how quickly the children seem to grow.

"I felt like it was only yesterday when she was beating the ever loving crap out of my body"

"To be fair shes only a few months old...but yeah, ive been feeling that way about Haruna lately...it seems like only yesterday when she would pick fights with her brother, punching him with her baby fists..."

I smiled and looked over to the now 4 year old little girl, watching as she laughed with her father over by the bar, occasionally spewing small fires from her mouth.

"Shes really advanced for her age isn't she?"

"Yeah, she learned how to speak and walk fairly quickly...then on top of that with the magic, geez that girl is gonna be the end of me"

A giggle soon came from behind us, revealing Juvia and her twins Storm and Sylvia, Storm attached to a backpack leash while Sylvia held onto her mother's hand.

"Well you two seem to be having a fun time reminiscing"

"Oh cmon you cant say you dont miss it either" I interjected, Juvia releasing her children before sitting down with us.

"Well I cant say it wasn't easier... Storm has so much energy I can barely keep up!"

"That sounds familiar..." I sighed, I looked around the guild for a bit, noticing a few missing faces.

"Where's Rosemary, Erza, and Jellal?"

"They went to go visit Milliana and Kagura, im sure they'll be back in a few days though"

"What about Levy, Gajeel, and Emma?"

"The beach"

I groaned, I haven't been feeling like myself lately and by that I meant I've been incredibly sick. Which meant I couldn't do many jobs, and no jobs meant boredom. So while others were out doing jobs and going on vacations I was stuck at home and under better circumstances, the guildhall.

Lucy stood up from the bench, suddenly handing me her baby without an explanation. I turned and watched as the blonde continued to walk away, obviously ignoring my calls of her name.

I looked down at the baby girl, one of her hands wrapping around my finger. I cooed a bit, smiling as she giggled in response.

Juvia looked over, cooing at the baby as I stared for a few seconds.

"Have you ever thought about having another baby y/n?"

I shrugged, the thought had crossed my mind but I never really brought it up.

"Sure but im not sure if Natsu would want to have another one, Haruna is still so small and a handful already..."

I looked over to the two standing by the bar area, Natsu carrying Haruna on his shoulders as she did a small roar of fire. I smiled at the sight, watching as the two shared a laugh before they turned to face me.

The two walked over, the little girl making grabby hands toward me before Natsu finally set her down. She ran over to my side asking to see the baby girl I was holding, resting her hand on the baby's.

"Hi Lana!" The little girl said, the baby smiled, grabbing one of Haruna's fingers and gripping it tightly.

I smiled, watching as a warm hand rested on my shoulder.
