Part two-chapter eighteen: you sure are clumsy aren'tcha?

"Thank you everyone, in all honesty I don't believe I would have been able to control ten thousand Dragons at once but, seven in just fine."

I looked around the area, noticing that a certain someone was missing.

"Wheres Natsu?! What'd you do with him?!" I yelled, future Rogue stared at me for a second before laughing and turning his attention toward the dragons. I attempted to interfere only to be stopped by Arcadios, who was grabbing me by the shoulder, signaling for me to relax.

"This was your plan all along! You're the one who deceived princess Hisui weren't you?!"

"Listen up! The age of humans is now over, we are entering the age of dragons! Kill every wizard you can find!"

With that simple command six dragons flew off, with the jade dragon, Zirconis, staying behind to fight us.

Zirconis looked at me and stared for a second, growling at me.

"You and I have a score to settle L/n."

"How do you know my name!?" I asked, Zirconis swiped his claws at me in an attempt to grab me. I managed to dodge in time just barely.

Eggs began to rain from the sky, smaller dragons sprouted from the eggs. Mira jumped in front to cover me from an attack with her taking the hit instead.

"Y/n! Go help the others! Lucy, Wendy, and I can deal with this one, you focus on finding future Rogue!"

I nodded and ran off, using my magic to pull myself onto the top of a building. I ran from rooftop to rooftop, searching for where future Rogue could possibly be. An egg suddenly fell in front of me, I managed to jump out of the way in time for it to break only the roof. I looked up and spotted a large dragon in the sky, dropping the eggs. I looked around and anxiously ran back towards the castle, the only way I could get close enough to use my magic to get to him would be to get on top of the highest tower in the castle.

I manifested two chains on my hands, wrapping them around the railing of my bedroom balcony. Once I had landed on the balcony I jumped up and proceeded to climb the castle as slowly as possibly, my heart was practically beating out of my chest. One wrong step and I could fall to my death or knock myself out.

I continued to climb up the castle, using my magic as support. I looked out and noticed the large gray dragon coming in my direction as well as a large light behind it.

I climbed up onto the railing of a different balcony and sprouted a chain from my hand, I waited a few seconds until the larger dragon was in front of me, i waited for its tail to reach me and wrapped a chain around it. Suddenly, the dragon turned causing me to let out a squeal before attempting to lift myself up.

After doing so I released my chain and turned around, future Rogue was stood right there, facing Natsu who was on top of a dragon. I sighed quietly in relief after seeing he was alive and well before ducking behind one of the pointed scales of the dragon.

I watched from afar as the pink haired male delivered a large punch onto the dragons body, causing it to shake. I gripped onto the spike tightly and looked over once again, the two dragons collided with each other, causing me to lose my grip on the wing and trip.

I panicked as I slowly slipped off the back, attempting to use my magic but the ground wasn't steady enough, everything was moving around too much.

I shut my eyes and was ready to fall.

"You really are clumsy aren't 'cha?"

I opened my eyes and smiled as Natsu pulled me up and steadily onto the dragon's back.

"Im glad to see you're doing okay"

"Why would I be?"

"Figured you did something stupid and knocked yourself out" I teased, Natsu shouted before the two of us turned our attention to the man in front of us. He sent of multiple blasts of his magic at us, I slid underneath one of them and used one of my chains to trap his foot, throwing him towards Natsu.

The pink haired mage jumped up in the air, which I took as my cue to hold on to something once again. Natsu delivered blow after blow but it didn't seem to be enough, future Rogue barely had any scratches on him if any. The dragons continued to collide and shake, i lost my balance a few times and ultimately took off my shoes since heels weren't helping at all.

I stood up, manifesting one chain in the sole of my right foot and the palm of the my right hand. I slammed the male into the body of the dragon multiple times as Natsu took advantage of his restrictions and pummeled the future male continuously.

I looked around and noticed happy flying towards us, pointing down at the eclipse gate and making multiple punching signs. I nodded and turned toward Natsu, taking his attention off of Rogue for a brief second.

"We need to destroy the Eclipse gate!" I yelled out, the mage nodded and looked back toward Rogue only to notice he was missing.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest, looking down and seeing a giant laser going through it. I felt tears slowly spill from my eyes as Natsu cried a few feet away from my body, future Rogue manifesting his magic into his hand and hovering it over my head.

"We need to destroy the eclipse gate" I yelled, I looked around and noticed I was in the exact same spot I was in before I got shot.

Natsu ran behind me and tackled Rogue onto the back of the dragon, I used my magic to restrain his arms and legs, delivering a few hits before the pink haired male ate some of the flames off the other dragon. He jumped up as high as he could, I took off the restraints from future Rogue and instead attatched myself to a scale, bracing for impact.

The dragon slowly began to ascend toward the Eclipse gate, after a second, it sped up rapidly and destroyed the gate, not even allowing for me to brace for impact.

My ears began to ring, Happy flying over to me and picking me up, taking me over to my younger sister and Arcadios.

Wendy came over, i was placed on the ground as she began to use her magic to help me.

Golden dust began to appear in the sky, I admired the sight as the ringing in my ears began to settle. People were running around and screaming, more specifically, Lucy was running around and panicking. The blonde girl ran over and hugged me tightly, Wendy assured me nothing major happened to me, my ears just popped too much and began to bleed.

I then felt someone pick me up, I looked and saw Natsu, lifting me up slightly off the ground in a tight hug.

"You saw what happened up there right? Im not goin crazy?"

"The fact that I died and then didn't? Yes I did see that" I said, the fire mage sniffled a bit, holding me tighter and lowering me onto the ground.

"Im so happy you're safe..."

"Hey relax I'm okay, I'm not going anywhere"
