"What? What're you talking about n/n?"

"Im pregnant...surprise"

My husband looked at me for a second, his eyes wide in pure shock. He glanced at me up and down before his mouth opened slightly, followed by him covering it with his hand.

He pulled me in for a sweet and quick kiss, following it up with a hug as well. I could hear gentle sniffling coming from the male as we continued to embrace.

"Natsu, are you crying?"

"What? No- pfft of course not...its just allergies" he defended, all while continuing to sniffle during that sentence. His grip tightened on me a bit before he finally released me, caressing my cheek gently. Tears slowly falling from his eyes as he did so.

"Hun, are you okay?"

"No, im more than okay-this is the best thing that's happened to me all month! Im so fucking pumped!"

We walked back toward the house, Natsu already brainstorming baby names and everything. It was adorable how excited he was, it was also completely understandable.

In the past he had expressed to me about the fact that he always felt guilty about missing out on my first pregnancy, so to him this was more so a way to redeem himself.

"How do you think Iggy is gonna react?"

"I'm- not quite sure? If he's anything like you then he'll get excited about it but he still is a kid..."

We walked into the house, immediately met by Bisca and Asuka who were currently sitting on the sofa, both Asuka and Igneel playing together while Bisca supervised.

"Hey lovebirds! How was the date?"

"We just went for a walk, nothing too special, thanks so much for taking him out today"

"Oh of course no problem! Asuka and Iggy both love seeing each other and they're surprisingly well behaved with one another so its nice."

I nodded and thanked the woman again, she then called her daughter over, telling her that it was going to be getting late soon and they needed to go see her father.

Asuka reluctantly said goodbye to our son, her mother and her walking out the door, leaving all three of us in the house.

Igneel rushed over to the two of us, embracing us tightly before going into his room. The two of us followed the boy, going into his messy and unkept room.

Natsu and I both took a seat on the boy's bed, motioning him over to the two of us.

"Whats going on? Mom? Dad?"

"Your dad and I have a surprise for you-"

"Is it a good or bad surprise?"

"That depends on how you see it buddy"

"As long as you're not sending me away alone again then it's probably good!" The boy joked, resting his head on my lap before looking back up at me.

"How would you feel if someone else was coming to live with us?"

"Who is it? Is it Aunty Lu? Because she was complaining about paying her rent yesterday more than usual..."

"No, you nosey! It's someone else...we haven't met them just yet"

"Why're we letting a random stranger live with us?!"

"Buddy, thats not whats happening. You're going to be a big brother soon"

The boy got up from my lap, giving his father a confused look before looking at me and smiling happily.

"You mean like how you and uncle Gajeel are mom?"

"Somewhat...your uncle and I don't have the same parents, but you and your little sibling have the same mom and dad so its a bit different" I explained, regardless the boy was excited none the less. I was relieved to see him take it so well, "I'm gonna be the best big brother! You can count on it!" He shouted, the two of us pulled the small boy into a hug.

Natsu quickly pulled away from the hug before looking at the small boy in a slightly serious expression, "promise me you won't tell anyone yet bud? Okay? Especially not Happy, he'll tell everyone too soon."

"Mhm! Aye sir!"

I laughed as Natsu ruffled his hair, the two of us leaving the room soon after.

"That went good"

"Im glad, Bisca was telling me about how Asuka doesn't want them to have another kid and I was scared that might've affected him a bit."

The two of us walked toward the sofa, immediately crashing down on it together. We both laid there for about an hour before a certain blue exceed came into the house, giving us all a quick greeting before going of into our son's room.

I looked over the couch and toward the window, noticing that the sky had become darker and winds were beginning to pick up.

I attempted to get up off the couch and walk toward the bed, only to be stopped by an arm that was around my torso. I attempted to get up again but to no avail, i was stuck.

I attempted to shake him but still, nothing.

I laid there for a few more seconds, attempting to make do of my situation. Which to be honest wasn't that bad to begin with, I just would have preferred it in the comfort of a bed. But I can't complain, things are finally beginning to look up for us.

All I can do is hope it continues to be that way.
