Part three-chapter thirteen: restraints and rescue

My head began to pulse as my chest tightened, I shook my head in an attempt to stop myself from along all of my thoughts to overtake me. My body felt heavy as someone placed their hand on my shoulder as I felt someones harsh breath on my shoulder.

I ran out of the room, my breathing was scarce and quick. I sat down once again in the abyss.

"Open the last door"

"You know you want to"

I got up from the floor, walking toward the third and final door.

It was different compared to the other two, it wasn't a memory of any kind, it was a dark room, it had only one of those revival tubes from Tartaros. Suddenly my body arose from the ground, I had absolutely no control over my own body. A tall woman then appeared holding her hand out to me, the woman wore a dark blue coat with a hood and red gem holding it together.

The shadows from the previous memory appeared in front of me, holding and restraining me tightly. I squirmed and screamed, the sudden feeling of water rushed my body and the shadows each placed one hand on either sides of my head.

The woman sat down, watching as the shadows opened my mouth, allowing for all the liquid from the tube to flow into me.

My hands slowly began to evaporate into bubbles, I gasped at the suddenly at the feeling, allowing for more liquid to enter my body.

Th next thing I knew I was on the floor coughing out water liquid I had ingested. Natsu and Gray ran toward me, while Lucy and Erza helped get the liquid out of me.

I coughed up the remainder of the liquid, watching as it disintegrated part of the floor beneath me. "What the fuck?!" Gray shouted, I stared at the ground as everyone attempted to regain my attention.

Suddenly the Island shrunk, everyone on the island dropped into the ocean. Luckily, some fisherman happened to be nearby, allowing for everyone to board. I sighed as both Natsu and Wendy hung their heads over the boat railings, holding both their hair back as they...emptied themselves.

I looked down at the two of them as they finished, immediately shouting as I noticed my hands slowly began to disappear. I looked around and noticed the same thing happening to the rest of the group, all of us panicking before we suddenly appeared in a building under water.

"What the fuck?!" I shouted looking around at the physics defying building we were inside, i stuck my hand out one of the holes in the wall. I marveled at the sight before slowly beginning to freak out, I began taking a few deep breaths before I felt someone caress my shoulders in a comforting way. I sighed, relaxing myself a bit before turning to face the man comforting me. Natsu grinned and placed a kiss on my forehead, all of us soon turning our attention to Mest for further details.

Angel emerged from the shadows of the building as it began to move, explaining that we were headed toward Master's location.

We spent about an hour or so in the building, I was in charge of keeping an eye on both Natsu and Wendy as they, once again, almost spilled their guts out.

I ran my hands through both their hair, occasionally caressing a small part of the back of their necks. After a few minutes, Wendy had successfully fallen asleep.

I looked down, toward my uncomfortable husband. His head continued to rest on one of my thighs as the building kept moving, his hand creeping towards mine.

I sighed, grabbing his hand and continuing to rub circles on the back of his neck as Mest explained how we would retrieve Master Makarov.

"Lets try and get as close to Alvarez as possible, from there ill use my magic and retrieve Makarov. Y/n and Erza since you two are higher ranked than the rest I'll trust the two of you with the map i've drawn up" he stated, the two of us smiled at each other before Erza had made her way towards me.

The red head crouched down, reaching my level before we began to analyze the map. I took a glance at each and every area and noticed the coordinates on the center of Alvarez, i cocked my head a bit, noticing the familiarity of the numbers.

"Mest, the closest im able to notice is too close to Alvarez on your own, it would be safer if someone accompanied you"

"Alright then, Y/n? What say you?"

"You want me to go with you?"

"Well yeah, you're the stealthiest person here, it makes sense."

"N-not a chance..." Natsu almost hurled out, i stared down at him, pathologically asking for an explanation. The pink haired man stood up weakly, resting his arm on my shoulder.

"I-im not lettin her anywhere cl-lose to those Alvarez f-freaks..."

"Natsu-"

"N-no, im not...gonna lose you- again..." he stated, immediately falling unconscious afterward. I sighed and shook my head, repositioning the dragon slayer in my lap.

"Well you heard him, sorry."

"Its fine, we'll figure something out"

I followed behind as the two dragon slayers in front of me sprinted off the moving building we were in, heading off into the woods of the outskirts of Alvarez.

After a few minutes of walking deeper into the forest we all took shelter behind a tree a few miles outside of Alvarez, a bit close but regardless, we felt capable of dealing with whatever comes our way.

Mest took no time at all to prepare himself, immediately using his magic to transport himself. All of us sat down, taking in the breeze of the seaside forest.

Not even a second later, Erza pointed out a familiar vision of static beside us, signaling that Mest was arriving. We all stood up, the thought of reuniting with our Master filling us all with excitement.

"Master!" We all shouted, the older man rubbing his eyes as he pointed out each of us, asking why we had come along. We all gave a simple answer, saying it was because he was our Master, and the guild wouldn't be complete without him.

We all began to walk back to Angel, Master expressing his concerns about how Alvarez was incredibly powerful and that he regrets disbanding the guild, fearing it would have made us vulnerable.

"Not at all Master! We all took the opportunity to continue to get stronger, even the children are skilled with their magic." Erza explained, prompting Master to ask about the young children of the guild.

Natsu took pride in sharing about how our son and daughter already showed much promise, joking that they will be stronger than all of us soon. I laughed and smiled, lowering the dramatics of Natsu's statements.

"He's just really excited since Haruna has already been able to use her dragon slayer magic and Igneel is just as good as me when I was a bit older than him!" I explained, Master sniffled a bit, attempting to stop his cheerful cries about how we were all growing up right before his eyes.

After about a minute or so, we finally arrived onto the beach where Angel was awaiting us. Natsu and Wendy both sighed, the fire dragon slayer holding my hand tightly as we approached while Wendy held onto Carla for dear life.

I smiled at the fire mage, placing a small peck onto his forehead. He responded with his infamous grin before pulling me into a sweet short kiss, allowing for everyone else to get onto the vehicle while we remained a bit behind.

The two of us walked toward the vehicle slowly, we were about a few feet away when I shoved him into the building. He let out a small 'ow' before reaching his hand out to help me on.

I smiled at his chivalry and reached for his hand, suddenly I felt a weight on my shoulders begin to shift and the sand beneath me began to sink.

A large sandstorm then began, and I couldn't see much but a dark silhouette reaching out, attempting to grab me.

The weight on my shoulders became heavier as I pushed toward the silhouette, moving down to my forearm, restraining me.

However, i managed to get one hand free, gently gracing the tips of the silhouettes fingers before finally succumbing to the sand.
