Part two-chapter fourteen: twin dragons

I was in the infirmary with Igneel watching over Lucy, helping Porlyusica and Wendy in whatever way I can.

"Im gonna get that bitch I swear-"

"Mama! Language!"

"Sorry baby, Mama is really upset right now...everybody is"

Erza came in the room along with everyone else and Master, Natsu ran over and picked up Igneel, looking down at Lucy apologetically.

"Listen up everyone, due to Raven tail being disqualified and there being an uneven number of teams, we are being forced to combine team A and B for the remainder of the games. The members are; Natsu, Erza, Gajeel, Gray, and Laxus. As well as, Juvia and Y/n in the reserves."

All seven of us nodded, Master explained the rest of our new set regulations.

Arcadios burst into the room, demanding an audience with me. I complied and got up from my seat walking out of the door and into the hallway.

"What were you thinking?!"

"That I was going to annihilate her for what she did."

"Your majesty! You cant act so rashly-"

"Why not?! She was going to murder my friend and talk down to my comrades! I don't care how people perceive me as long as they know not to fuck with me or my family. This isn't a prideful thing Arcadios its a protective thing."

The commander sighed, ultimately giving up on trying to get me out of my angered state, but to no avail.

I walked back into the infirmary and saw everyone gone before Wendy and Evergreen had explained to me that they had gone up to the viewing area to watch the fight against Mermaid Heel and Lamia Scale.

Once I had gotten up the steps and onto the balcony I stepped more so toward the railing, leaning on it as Natsu wrapped his arm around my waist in a protective manner while his other arm supported our son who was seated on said railing.

The fight ended in a draw, marking the beginning of the intermission before Natsu and apparently Gajeel's fight. It was normal for Natsu to get excited about a fight but this time he was more so upset than excited.

For the next three minutes he didn't say a word, he just stood beside me in silence until it was time for him and my brother to go down into the arena. Igneel and I walked down with Natsu and Happy, the blue line quickly saying his piece before crying and flying back to the viewing area.

"I know you'll win this papa! You're the strongest guy ever!" The little boy cheered, Natsu laughed and bent down, ruffling the little ones hair before hugging him tightly.

The boy ran out, following the blue cat back to viewing area, I hugged Gajeel, telling him to kick ass before turning my attention to my husband. Natsu pulled me in for a kiss, only to be stopped by my index finger while I smiled.

"Kisses are for after you win, so kick ass babe. If anyone can with this its you two."

He grinned and kissed my forehead, followed by resting his on mine while holding my hands. I could see a small mischievous smile appear on his face before he whispered to me.

"Can I get more than a kiss if I win?"

I chuckled and nodded, pecking his cheek and walking back to the viewing balcony.

Once I had gotten there Igneel was with Gray and Erza, the older redhead having him seated on her shoulders. I stood beside the two, watching as all four dragon slayers walked out of the den and into the arena. No one could deny that they weren't quite sure how this battle could go, for all we knew it could end in a draw.
