Part two-chapter one: supervise

"Get up! Im sure you two had plenty of 'catching up' to do but Master wants all of us at the guildhall now!" I stirred awake slowly, the sound of Cana's voice radiating through the apartment. I rubbed my eyes gently, getting up from the bed and putting on my usual outfit, sliding up my boots and exiting my bedroom. Once I had exited my bedroom, I was met with the sight of Natsu carrying his son on his shoulders around the living room as happy flew behind them slowly. I smiled and grabbed my satchel from one of the sofa chairs, yawning while doing so, drawing attention to the trio.

"Mama! You're awake!"

"Yup, you sleep good baby?"

"Mhm, papa, happy, and me waited for you wake up. Papa said not to wake you up because you were tired"

I smiled at the older pink haired male, giving Happy a small scratch behind his ears and giving my son a small kiss on his forehead and his father a small peck on his lips before walking out of the apartment toward the guild hall.

The walk to the guildhall was absolutely dreadful, my legs were sore and the boots I was in certainly weren't helping. Although, it was nice to see the boys enjoying themselves, for years i could only imagine what a day like today would've looked like. I suddenly felt a hand grab mine gently, I looked beside me and saw Natsu smiling at me while Igneel and Happy looked toward the canal.

Once we had finally gotten to the guildhall, Natsu had set his son down, allowing for him to run toward Romeo, Wendy, and Asuka while Natsu and happy went to the bar to order breakfast. I walked over to Lucy and Cana who were sitting at a table "heyyyy n/n~ wearin your hair down today? Havent seen you wear it down since we were kids"the brunette said before taking another swing of her morning liquor. I looked down and twirled a piece of my long hair, realizing that the drunken girl was right.

"Huh now that you mention it Cana, ive never seen you with your hair down y/n, is there a reason?" The blonde teased, I blushed and shook my head no, dismissing the suggestive guess the blonde was implying even though she was completely right.

The Master and Macao soon came out of the study, Master stood on top of a box, motioning his hands to gather all of us in front of it.

"Alright listen up you brats, right now our main focus should be to build up our guild rank before the grand magic games coming within the next few months. Go on as many requests as you can, Fairy Tail will be number one again!" We all cheered at the masters words and immediately all ran for the request board. Natsu held up a request in his hand before making his way over to Lucy and I, soon Gray, Erza, and Wendy followed as well.

"This job should be enough for all of us!"

"Um ya sure about that pyro? We can only evenly split the reward through five of us"

"Duh I know that, me and y/n are sharin our part of the reward money" the group looked at me curiously, wondering if he had even spoken to me about the agreement, I nodded mainly because I was going to tell him that to begin with.

We all had come to an agreement that we would set out for the job tomorrow at midday, choosing to spend the rest of the day as a group. We all decided to head over to the park so that way we wouldn't be trapped inside all day, the girls and I were seated over by a tree, watching as Gray and Natsu tried to compete over who could amaze Igneel the most with their magic while happy encouraged them.

"Oh y/n i forgot to tell you, I have some old clothes that I've been meaning to give away, I've already asked everyone else but you if you would like some." I nodded at the red haired woman, thanking her for the offer. We all talked for a few more hours, retelling stories of past adventures and the past in general.

"Y/n?"

"Hm?"

"What was it like? Y'know raising a whole kid by yourself?" Lucy asked me, she apologized right after, explaining how she was just curious. I assured her it wasn't a big deal and looked back toward the trio of boys accompanied by a certain blue feline.

"I mean I knew parenting was never gonna be easy but Iggy is such a good kid, he made it easier for me, sure when he was a lot younger he cause trouble but still, I never really stressed over him. But, pregnancy really kicked my ass and postpartum wasn't any better at all. Building up to it I was just scared of going through it practically alone since we were all mainly focused on keeping the tavern."

The girls looked at me apologetically, Erza placed a hand on my shoulder in a comforting manner. I sighed before continuing "I remember during delivery I was terrified, sure at that point I had my dad and Hisui but I hadn't connected to them emotionally like I had to you guys, I wanted everyone to be there, especially Natsu, I wanted him to be there, holding my hand while I went through the worst pain of my entire life. When I went into labor I was alone, Macao was working on paperwork with Wakaba, and everybody else was out on jobs. Thank god Porlyusica was there."

The three girls pulled me into a hug, I felt a few tears spill on my shoulder. "We won't ever leave you alone again y/n, you're like my sister!" I muttered a small thank you and smiled the girls releasing me from their grip, my eyes beginning to water at the sentiment. "Mama are you okay?" I looked up and smiled at my son pulling him into my lap and hugging him tightly, peppering small kisses all over his face, the small boy giggled kicking his feet. I looked up and saw the other two standing in front of me, Natsu reached for my hand helping me up of the ground, grabbing his sons hand with his free one. We all looked around the park, beginning to notice how dark it was becoming.

"Well ill see you all tomorrow, its almost time for a certain someone to go to bed." I announced, the small pink haired boy pouted in response. His father leaned down and whispered something in his ear, causing the small boy to smile and nod his head vigorously, dragging his father and myself to fairy hills.

Once we had gotten back, the two of us had tucked him into bed, giving the boy a small goodnight kiss and bidding both the boy and the blue exceed goodnight. Leaving the room and heading into my own "what did you tell him earlier before we left?" The dragon slayer looked toward me before smiling softly "just that id bring him something when we come back from that job tomorrow" I finished putting on my pajamas and walked over to him, wrapping my arms around his neck and in turn he wrapped his around my waist.

"Were not taking him with us right?"

"Fuck no Natsu, were not taking our baby to fight bandits with us"

"Well who do you trust to leave him with?"

"Well I know Gajeel and Shadow gear aren't going on a job tomorrow and I want Gajeel to spend time with Iggy since he hasn't spent that much time with him yet...and maybe we'll just ask Levy to supervise..."
