You took a deep breath, finally getting some fresh air after hundreds of years. You couldn't exactly remember when you had been locked in but from a quick glance, you could tell that a lot of time had passed.
"Is some there?"
Toph hadn't meant to open whatever she had stumbled upon. Considering that places were only sealed to conceal something evil, she knew she had screwed up.
You looked at her, curious about what she was doing in the middle of the forest. You were glad that she had allowed you to break out but you worried over the fact that she was alone. Looking around the area, you couldn't find any traces of anyone.
"It's just you and me here."
Toph nearly screams out of fear when she suddenly hears your voice. She hadn't heard another heartbeat so she didn't expect for someone to be near her. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, she looks towards the general direction of your voice feeling much calmer.
"And who is me?"
"(y/n), and who are you? It's not safe to be wondering around this temple. You could never know who might just pop out at you."
She crosses her arms and then gives you a glare.
"I'm Toph and I'm looking for my friends. They're supposed to be around here."
There's the sound of twigs breaking to your right and you turn around to find several people coming your way.
"Well Toph, it looks like they found you. I'll leave you then. A big thank you from letting me catch some fresh air."
"Hey, wait...."
"Toph! We were so worried."
"Not, now Katara! (y/n)! Where did you go?"
You hadn't left, simply choose to hide from her friends. This Toph had freed you from your prison and you were going to do anything you could to pay her back. If her friends saw you, you knew you wouldn't be able to have the opportunity to pay her back.
"(y/n)? There's no one around. Who were you talking to?"
Toph didn't want to explain the story or make them think like she was crazy so she changed the subject. Perhaps she had hallucinated what had happened.

You faded into the background while keeping an eye on Toph. You wanted to keep her safe but she could do that all on her own. It infuriated you but it also made you fall a little more in love with her. It was rare to find someone that could fight. With nothing to do, you began to learn everything about her to see how you could help her. In your quest to find out more about her, you had managed to fall in love with her. She was absolutely perfect. The only thing thing that bothered you was the fact that she had a major crush on one of her friends. You weren't okay with that, you wanted her all for your own. So in the middle of the night while everyone slept, you managed to kill him. He hadn't seen it coming.
"Sokka! What happened?! Who could have done this?!"
Katara and Toph were in tears as they looked at his lifeless body. Your heart broke to see her so devastated but a part of you was happy to see that he was out of the way.

His sister was next to go. You couldn't stand her constant need for Toph to comfort her. Like the death of her brother, you made it look like an accident.
The air bender followed You hated how Toph did everything she could to console him. With the only one alive from the group, she had no choice but to head home. You couldn't be happier with the choice she had made.

Toph knew something was up after the death of Katara. She didn't want to be right but there couldn't be any other explanation.
"It was you, wasn't it? You killed my friends."
She was alone, there was no one else she could be talking to so you had no choice but to finally talk to her after weeks.
"I did you a favor. They weren't very good friends. They were just using you for extraordinary abilities."
"Aang had told me about the spirits. How some of them could be good or bad?"
"It's truly such a shame that he was in the way. I liked him the best out of the three,"
"He also told me how to get rid of them."
You hadn't been paying attention to where she was walking until now. Toph was standing at the edge of a cliff.
"Don't be ridiculous. You're not seriously going to do it, are you?"
"You killed my friends and I refuse to let you continue doing so. If it means that I have to die, I'll do it."
Taking a deep breath, she jumped off the cliff.
"No!"
You tried grabbing her but she slipped through your grip.
