"Lin, don't be ridiculous. They'll capture you!"
"It's a risk that I'm willing to take. Tenzin and his family are the last air benders. We must protect them."
Lin stood up and was ready to jump off when she felt you hug her arm.
"What are you doing? Let me go."
"No! Tenzin, back me up on this. She can't go. We'll find another way to dodge them."
Tenzin looked to Lin and then to you. Lin had narrowed her eyes at him, practically daring him to go against what he said.
"Lin is right? This is the only way."
"Then I'm coming with you, Lin. I might hate you but I don't want to see you die."
Lin scoffs with the shake of her head.
"Like I'd let them kill me. Fine, if you insist on coming with me then you'll come with me."
She wraps and arm around you and uses her metal rope to attach to one of the airships. Together, the two of you take out the first one and then jump to the second. The second ship had managed to have enough time to send out agents to take the two of you out. It's 2 against 20. You and Lin manage to take out half of them before you're both subdued. You had cried out in pain and Lin had been distracted by the sound.

"I'm sorry, Lin. This is all my fault. You could've easily taken down the other 10 and the ship if I hadn't come."
Lin was attempting to break out of her cell when you started to talk.
"Please. You give me too much credit. I would've been killed. They were all wearing those gloves. Lets not focus on that. Help me get out of here."
The two of you attempt to break out of the cell when Amon barges in.
"If it isn't Republic City's finest."
"Let us out Amon!"
"Oh I will. I want to send the Avatar a message."

You and Lin wake up to find yourselves at an empty alley.
"What happened?"
You asked Lin as she helped you stand.
"Amon took our bending. I tried to get him to stop but couldn't. I'm sorry."
"Lin, he took your bending too. You don't have to apologize for anything."
Lin stays quiet as she makes her way out of the alley with you in tow.
"We need to find Korra and tell her Amon's message. She'll need all the help that she can get.
