You were currently in the middle of cooking dinner when all 3 of your kids piled into the kitchen, screaming for you.
"Children, inside voices. What have I told you about that?"
They all mumble a quick apology and start calling for you in a quieter tone. You can't help but laugh but turn around this time to see what they wanted.
"Mom says that we're ready for our first match! She signed us up and we'll be playing this weekend! Will you come to our game?"
You found it funny that they would think you wouldn't show up. You always made time to show up for any of their events they participated in school. This was not going to be an exception.
"Of course, my loves. I'll be there to cheer the loudest with your mother. Where is she by the way?
"She's talking to Aunt Asami about sponsoring our team."
"Mm alright. Go wash up, dinner will be ready soon."
They all give you a quick hug and rush up to their bedroom. As the last one disappears up the stairs, Korra comes out of your office, sporting a huge grin. It brings a smile to your face to see her so happy.
"I heard from three little birds that our kids are ready for their first match."
"Yes! You should've seen them in training. They were amazing. I know they'll continue the team legacy."
You wrap your arms around her neck, leaning in to kiss her. You only pull apart when you hear loud 'Ew's' besides you. The two of you chuckle quietly and pull apart after another quick kiss.
"Come on. Help me set up the table, dinner is ready."
The all groan loudly, including Korra but do as they are told.

Korra and the kids had not stopped talking about the game since the beginning of the week. They've all added an extra hour of practice days before the game just to make sure they had covered everything.
"The other team has no chance. They are going to get their asses beat."
"I don't doubt that. I just know that you, Bolin and Mako thought them everything they need to know."
"Yeah! We even played a match against them.."
"Korra! Please tell me that you went easy on our kids, you know how competitive you could be."
"They're our kids, I wasn't going to go hardcore." She sighs when you give her a look. "Okay, I might've gone a little overboard but they still beat us! They're good."
You roll your eyes at her and turn to the middle of the arena where the first team was going up. Bolin, Mako, Asami and everyone else showed up before the new Fire Ferrets went up the stage.
"OH! IT'S THEM! THOSE OUR KIDS!! WOOOO!! GO FIRE FERREETTS!!!"
The two of you cheered loud enough to draw the attention of your kids and everyone else. Neither of you cared as they all waved at you.
The game starts and it's like a switch is flipped for them. They were all friendly with smiles but as soon as the timer started, they were aggressive and serious. Quite like Korra. They were practically the spitting image of her. The rounds are over as soon as they started, the other team had no chance.
"We won?! WE WOON!!!!! I KNEW THEY COULD DO IT!!"
Korra takes off to the locker room, wanting to celebrate with the kids. You apologize to your friends and take off after her.

"Mom! We won! Did you see how awesome we were?"
"I sure did! You guys were amazing. I think this serves for some victory ice cream, don't you think Korra?"
"Yes! Lets go before your mom changes her mind."
Not wanting for her to run out again, you want her that there would be no ice cream if there was any running. She apologizes about leaving you behind the first time and takes your hand as the 5 of you head to the ice cream shop.
