You kept a smile on your face as Kuvira removed the chains, too afraid of making the wrong movement to make her change her mind. After almost a year of being chained down in the room, Kuvira finally trusted you enough to give you some freedom. You had truly believed that things would get better after the marriage that she forced you into but you were wrong. Marrying her just made her more paranoid. She kept thinking that anyone would steal you from her so to make sure that you stayed by her side, she chained you inside your shared bedroom.
"See? I told you if you were a good girl that I was going to give you some freedom. I kept my promise."
"I know, Kuvira. Thank you. Can we go outside?"
"You want to go outside with me?"
"O..of course. It's only appropriate that I spend my first day of freedom with my wife."
You take her hand and let her lead you outside. The two of you stopped so you could take your first breath of fresh air. This was the first step to freedom from Kuvira. It wouldn't be long before you would be able to escape.

Kuvira still couldn't believe the 180 change of attitude almost 3 months ago when you started to warm up to her. It surprised her but she never questioned it. Kuvira just assumed that you had finally accepted your faith. When she allowed you some freedom and you didn't run away, she was more at ease. Months passed by and she completely trusted you. Guards were no longer looking over your shoulder and you were finally free to escape. Setting the plan in motion as soon as you were sure that Kuvira completely trusted you to not keep an eye on you, you escape under the cover of the night.

"Find her! Take all the soldiers and search the surrounding areas. I don't care what has to be done. Just find her and bring her to me!"
It had taken a total of 10 minutes for Kuvira to realize that you had escaped. She sounded the alarm and had guards running in all directions to find you. Even with the 10 minute head start, you hadn't run far enough to outrun them. Using the robot suits, they had quickly caught up to you.
There was no way that you were going to be dragged back to Kuvira. She was going to make things worse for you when you got back. You begged and pleaded for them to let you go but they valued their life too much to do so. Kuvira would've killed any one of them if they learned that they had let you go. After crying out all your tears, you accepted your faith. You were never going to escape from Kuvira. She was far too powerful and in love with you to ever let you go.

Kuvira locked the door behind her men as she watched your sleeping form. Just looking at you made her furious. She had trusted you and you had betrayed her. Your actions had consequences and she was going to have to punish you so you could see that she didn't like being treated like a fool.
Grabbing the spare metal from her suit, she made quick work to build you a collar that had her name. Locking it around your neck, it was going to be impossible for someone to remove it unless they were metal benders. She ran her fingers over the letters of her name and smiled. You were hers to do as she wished.

You woke up to find Kuvira looking down at you.
"I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed in you (y/n). I trusted you and the first things you did with it was to ruin it. I hate having to lock you in this room so this is going to be the only way that I'll allow you to step outside." When you move, you could feel something against your neck. Pressing your fingers against it, you touch something cold. "I had to collar you. I've had to resort to treating you like a disobedient puppy because you misbehaved. Until I can see that you've learned how to behave, you're going to keep this collar on so I can drag you around when we go out. I wouldn't want for you to get lost again." Out of nowhere, she pulls out a leash to clip on the collar. "Now come on, I have a lot of meetings to get to."
She pulled on the leash and you were forced to follow along. You knew this was the least harshest punishment she could take and you were grateful. You escape might've been foiled but you weren't going to give up. You were going to do whatever it takes to escape.
