You were too busy starring at the woman besides Suyin to realize that they were all looking at you. Boling and Mako but elbow you to snap you out your thoughts.
"It's a pleasure to meet you! I uh, you have a lovely city."
Suyin just smiles and thanks you as she starts to lead everyone to the elevator. All you can do is let out a sigh of relief when everyone's eyes are off of you.
"Way to make it obvious, (nickname). You were obvious staring at Opal."
You turn to Bolin, covering his mouth so no one else could hear him. No one pays any attention to him as he struggles to take your hand off of it.
"Shut up, Bo. I don't need you to yell it out to everyone."
You let out a whimper as you feel a rock hit the side of your head, making you let go of your hold on him.
"Ow!"
"Everything alright, over there?"
You turn to find that Opal was standing behind you. Unsure of what she had heard, you turn bright red in embarrassment. Taking pity on you, Bolin speaks up for you.
"Yeah, just a friend brother and sister fight. Nothing to worry about."
He gives her a grin and two thumbs up. She gives the two of you a curious look but eventually nods. Letting out a sigh of relief, you leaned on the wall besides Bolin.
"Thanks."
"Yeah, don't mention it. I wouldn't be able to talk to someone that I've fallen in love with."
"Bo!"

Thankfully, Bolin had stopped making any suggestions about the two of you. He would keep quiet but he would often tease you whenever Opal was around the two of you. It was annoying you and you wanted him to stop.
"Alright, what is it going to take for you to keep your mouth shut."
He smiles, happy that you had brought it up first.
"How about you ask her out?"
"What?"
"Yeah, ask her out. We won't be in Zaofu for long and she's most likely going to be with Tenzin at the Air Temple. You should ask her out before your chance passes."
You sigh as you look up to where Korra was training with Opal.
"I don't even know if she likes me. All I've done is make a fool out of myself whenever she's around."
"Trust me, sis. Opal likes you. She'll say yes. Just go up and ask her."
"Later, she's training."
"I'll be waiting."

You were currently sitting besides Opal at dinner. You were normally sitting besides Bolin and Mako but Bolin had switched spots with you so you could sit besides Opal.
"Opal, (y/n) has something to ask you."
Bolin blurts out while you're eating. You turn to him, shooting daggers to the back of his head as he had already turned around.
"What did you want to ask me, (y/n)?"
"You're an air bender, right?" Opal gives you curious look as she nods. "That explains why you always manage to take my breath away."
Opal just stares at you, no quite understanding what you meant. Bolin shakes his head in shame and Mako facepalms.
"I do not mean to do so. I can take you to a healer if you'd like."
"I uh...." Not wanting to explain what you mean, you just slowly nod. This couldn't get any more humiliating. "Yes, please."

As promised, Opal takes you to the healer and you're not surprised when he doesn't find anything wrong with you.
"So, what did he say?"
You couldn't lie to her, it was impossible.
"That there was nothing wrong with me."
"Oh, then what did you mean."
"Opal, I.." you stop walking, making her stop too. "I was trying to flirt with you. I admit it wasn't my best but I've never done it before."
You tell her with a blush covering your cheeks.
"Really? I've never had anyone flirt with me. Now that I think about it, it was kind of cute. I liked it. Can I tell you one?"
"I'd love to hear one."
"You must be an earth bender because you rock my world."
"Will you go out with me?"
You can't help but blurt out when she tells you the pickup line. Opal doesn't even have to think about it as she quickly nods.
"I'd love to."
