"I'm alone Kuvira, just as you asked. Now release my wife!" Korra yells to her. She was furious and practically out for Kuvira's blood for kidnapping you. "If you don't come out with her in the next 5 seconds. I will burn this whole camp to the ground!"
The sea of soldiers make way for their leader to head to the front of the camps.
"I didn't think that you would actually come alone. You hadn't listened to my instructions the last time that I told you to come alone."
"I didn't come here to talk. I came here to get my wife back. Where is she?!"
"Oh relax, Korra. Lets have a chat. We have a lot to discuss before I release your wife."
Korra clenches her hands into fists, wanting to start throwing punches. She only stopped herself so you wouldn't get hurt. Kuvira laughs as she notices Korra's hand.
"Don't worry. Your wife will be safe as long as you don't lay a hand on me. Come to my tent and we'll discuss the surrender of Republic City."
Korra turned around to look at the city before turning around to face Kuvira again. Republic City had been her home for almost 5 years, she didn't want to lose it but she had no choice.
"Alright. Lets go."

The two of them were just finishing their discussion when you were brought in. At the sight of your wife, you break away from the hands of the guards and rush to Korra's side. Kuvira is quick to react and catches you before you're able to reach her.
"Not so fast. Korra has still not signed any of the paperwork."
She looks towards the two guards, pissed off that they hadn't listened to instructions to wait until after the deal. She would deal with them later.
"I've already agreed with you on everything. Let her go!"
"Sign the papers, Korra and I'll let her go."
You shake your head at her, not wanting for Korra to give up. They had all worked hard so that the city wouldn't fall and she didn't want to be the reason for all their hard work to go to waster.
"Don't sign them, Korra. You love the city, she'll destroy everything that we love. She'll destroy the home of thousands of spirits and citizens."
Korra struggled with what to do. Kuvira decided to take the liberty to help her hurry with a choice. She pulls out a knife and holds it against your throat.
"I don't have a lot of patience, Korra. Sign the papers or her blood and your child's will be on your hands." Korra moved to help you but Kuvira stopped her by slowly making a small cut. It's not large but it does hurt enough to make you cry out. "I'm giving you a minute or I'll actually make the cut this time."
You had been crying for a second and then pass out on the next. Korra panics and Kuvira just laughs, amused about how low your pain tolerance was. Another second passes by and you awaken again. You open your eyes, shocking both Korra and Kuvira as they see them glowing. It shouldn't be possible. Only the Avatar could enter the Avatar State. You hold her arms, making your hands get hot to burn her. She cries out in pain as it burns her skin. She quickly lets you go and you take the opportunity to bend the Earth around you to hurt her. Large rocks make her way and she's barely able to dodge them. Korra could see how quickly your energy was draining and she steps in to finish what you had started. Just as you pass out, Team Avatar had arrived.

Korra had not left your side after she had taken down Kuvira. It had been her fault that you had been taken and she wasn't going to risk it again.
"Korra, baby, I love you but I need my space."
She pouts at you, but climbs off of the bed.
"I just want to make sure that you're safe."
"I am safe. Our friends are just outside the door and you're here. Plus I can enter into the Avatar State for just a couple of minutes. I'm as safe as I could be."
"Okay. I'll ease back on my overprotectiveness."
"Thank you. That's all I ask for." You lean in and kiss her, making her smile again. "I love you."
"I love you too."
