You've been spending a lot of time with Asami, hardly having any time to spend with your girlfriend, Korra. You hated how the two of you were only able to talk at night but it would just have to be for a short time. Your newest design that you partnered with Future Industries to build would be released in a matter of a few days and then you would go back to working at regular hours.
"Do you really think that we should change this last minute? How long will it take to get everything replaced.'
Asami looks down at the files, making some quick calculations in her head.
"We already have the parts. It'll just be up to how many units the workers are able to replace during the workday."
"I don't want to start something and then not finish the rest because we don't meet the deadline."
"We can push back the announcement."
"We can't. I promised Kara that after next week, I would be all hers. I can't go back on my word."
Asami sighs and again goes over the figures.
"The parts need to be replaced, there's no way around it. The press conference will have to be delayed."
You winced at the thought of telling Korra that you were going to have to push the date, a few days back. She was not going to be happy.
"How long will it be delayed?"
"A week."
You sigh and nod.
"Lets do it. I would rather release a perfect device than something faulty."
"I'm sure Korra will understand."

When you arrived back home, Korra was outside training with the new gear that you had bought her out guilt. She looked focused but you knew if you waited longer to tell her, it was going to be worse.
"Korra? Korra!"
You quickly ducked when you saw the line of fire coming your way.
"I'm so sorry, (y/n)! Are you okay?"
She runs to you, bending down to help you stand back up again. You take a deep breath, calming yourself down.
"It's okay. It was my fault."
She just shakes her head, knowing neither of you would ever come to an agreement about whose fault it is. Wiping away her sweat, she leans in to kiss you.
"You're home early! Does this mean you'll be coming home earlier from now on."
You looked anymore but at her, not wanting to meet her eyes as you told her the news.
"About that. We found a faulty piece in the devices and we need to delay the press conference..." Korra narrowed her eyes at you, making you lose concentration on what you were saying.
"No."
"W...what do you mean, no?"
"No. I'm tired of getting jealous of Asami for getting to spend all those hours with you. It's affecting our friendship. Either you find a better solution or I'm making you step down so your CFO takes over."
"Korra, I can't just..."
"Yes, you can. Use that brilliant mind of yours."
You sigh and nod. Perhaps there could be a better way to resolve everything.
"I'll find something."
Korra gives you a bright smile and kisses you.
"Good! Now lets go eat dinner. We haven't eaten together in so long."

Spending time with Korra for longer than an hour was a godsend. You hadn't realized how stressed you had been or the fact that you had been working or how much you really missed Korra. Asami had tried talking to you about it but you told her everything was fine. Not accepting their help had been a mistake on your part but you were going to fix it.
"I'm having my CFO step in for me. She knows everything that's been going with the project and can handle things for me."
You tell her while you're both cuddling in bed.
"Listen, (y/n). I'm sorry about earlier. I was just annoyed that you were pushing the day back. I'm fine with waiting another week. It shouldn't have even been a question."
You turned around in her arms, leaning in to kiss her.
"I want to. You're right. I was spending too much time on this. I've missed you a lot and there's no way that I'm going to be able to go back to only spending an hour with you."
"...I really didn't want to go back to that either."
You give her a smile as you close your eyes.
"Good. I'll talk to her tomorrow so she could takeover. I'll take the reigns again for the press conference."

You pushed Korra gently to Asami as the press conference ended.
"Asami, Korra has something to say to you."
Korra sighed and took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry for how I've been acting these past few weeks. I was jealous that you were spending more time with my girlfriend then I ."
Asami just shakes her head and pulls Korra in for a hug.
"If it makes you feel better, we bored each other with numbers."
"That does make me feel better, thank you Asami."
