You couldn't help but stare as Aang and Katara practiced their water bending. You hated how he spent practically the 24 hours with her and hardly let you spend anytime with her. The logical part of you knew that there was nothing going on between the two of them but your jealous side made you constantly question as to why they spent so much time together. They couldn't be training all those hours.
"Ow! Sokka! What was that for?"
Sokka had been trying to get your attention for the past minute but you kept ignoring him. Wanting to get your attention, he hit your face with one of the fishes he had caught.
"Quit starring at my sister and help me get our dinner."
"You just threw one of the fishes back in the water!"
"I put it to good use! You weren't paying attention to me."
Wanting to get him back, you hit him with another of the fishes. The two of you would've continued throwing the rest of the fishes but Toph stopped the two of you before there was nothing left.
"I can hear you, you idiots! Quit messing around and catch us our dinner."

"What were you and Sokka fighting about?"
Katara finally asks you when the two of you are alone back in the tent.
"Oh! Uh, nothing. We just wanted to have a little fun. That's all."
"Really? The two of you really thought it would be a fun idea to slap each other with a fish."
"Y...yeah."
She turned around in your arms to face you. You panicked, unable to meet her eyes as she looked at you.
"I don't believe you. You can't even look at me."
Your eyes quickly land on hers and give her a smile.
"See. I can look at you."
"Why were you an my brother really arguing?"
"Well you know, he was..." You looked away from her, making her pinch your arm to grab your attention. "Look at me at me when I'm talking."
You couldn't lie to her face.It was impossible. You would start stuttering and sweating.
"Sokka yelled at me because I was too busy staring at you and Aang because I was jealous."
She frowns when you mention the word jealous.
"Jealous? What were you jealous about?"
"Aang. I hate how he spends so much time with you and I hardly get to spend any with you. This is the first time we've talked for longer than a couple of minutes."
She cups your cheek to gently caress it with her thumb.
"I never realized that we were spending so much time in training. I've just been too busy yelling at him since he keeps ignoring everything that I say. I'm sorry for spending such a long time with him in training. I'll try to keep it short."
Hearing that she yelled at him made you feel at ease. There was no way something could be happening between the two of them is she yelled at him. She only did so when she was frustrated that something wasn't going her way.
"No. No. That's not fair of me. Aang needs to master the water element so he can take out Ozai. I'm not going to get in the way of your training. Besides, once the two of you are done, I can have you all to myself again. He'll be spending all his time on mastering the other elements."
"I don't think Aang will mind if I cut our training by an hour."
"Katara, I really don't mind. I promise. I just let my jealousy get the best of me. It won't be a problem, I swear."
She looks at you for a while, making sure that you weren't lying. Seeing that you weren't, she leans in to kiss you softly.
"I'll hurry him up so we won't take long."
You almost felt bad. When Katara put her mind to something, she did anything she could to get it done. You couldn't imagine what she would do to Aang to get him to hurry up and master the element.
