Pansy was still babying Draco so I stood up. I grabbed my bag and shoved my book inside. I sat the strap on my shoulder and went to walk over to sit with Hermione, Ron, and Harry. That was until a hand caught my wrist. I looked down to no surprise it was Draco's. "Where are you going?" He asked.

"Not that it's any of your business Malfoy, but to sit with my friends. Watching Pansy drool over you is making me sick," I said and pulled away from him.

I walked over and sat down beside Ron across from Harry. "Listen to the idiot. He's really laying it on thick, isn't he?" Ron asked as they all looked at Draco.

"Please! Don't touch it," I heard Draco say and looked over to see Pansy's hand hovering over his arm. "He's eating up the attention," I said. Ron turned around "when did you get here?" He said.

"Ron, you watch me walk over," I said and rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, but at least Hagrid didn't get fired," Harry said.

"Yeah, but I heard Draco's father's furious. We haven't had the end of this," said Hermione.

"His father hears about everything. He's always running to daddy when something doesn't go his way," I told them.

"Why were you sitting with him anyway?" Harry asked.

"Hagrid left me with him. I helped carry his things back to the dorms. Don't worry Lucas has been keeping a close eye on him. He looked like he was about to kill Draco when he saw him standing outside my room," I told him.

"He was in your room?" Harry asked.

"No, he was outside my room," I said. He was going to say something but Seamus came in yelling. "He's been sighted! He's been sighted!"

"Who?" Ron asked.

Seamus a copy of the Daily Prophet down on the table "Sirius Black," he said as we got up and moved closer. "Dufftown?!" Hermione said.

"That's not far from here," I said leaning over the table. Poor Dean was smashed in between me and Ron. "Y-You don't think he'd come to Hogwarts, do you?" Neville asked.

"With Dementors at every entrance?" Someone asked.

"Dementors! He's already slipped past them once, hasn't he?" Seamus said. "Who is to say he won't do it again?"

"That's right. Black could be anywhere," another Gryffindor kid said. "It's like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands."

Harry was just looking down at the paper staring at the moving picture of Sirius Black screaming and thrashing around.

"Come on, we have Defense Against the Dark Arts," I said and walked back over to my bag and grabbed it. Hermione, Ron, and Harry did the same and we walked out of the Great Hall.

Hermione and Ron walked in front while me and Harry walked behind them. "So, are you and Malfoy like together?" Harry asked.

"What?" I was shocked when he asked me that.

"Well, he's been acting weird around you," Harry said.

"No, he hasn't," I said, scuffing.

"So, you're not seeing him?" He asked.

"No. I'm definitely not seeing Malfoy," I said.

"Good, he's bad news. And you deserve someone who would treat you well," said Harry, putting his head down, his cheeks turning pink.

"Inlet out a little laugh "Thanks, Potter," I said, pronouncing his last name like Draco does. He pushed me and laughed.

Then I felt an arm around my shoulders. I looked to my right to see the one person I didn't, Draco Malfoy. "What do you want, Malfoy," Harry snarled.

"Well, Potter, I want you to leave y/n alone. She's mine, not yours," Draco snarled back.

I tried to push him away but it didn't do much. "I am not your Malfoy. I am not an object. Now if you'll excuse us," I said and went to grab Harry's hand but Draco stopped me with a whisper in my ear. "I need to talk to you," he said while looking at Harry. He had that damn smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and looked over to Harry.

"Go ahead Harry, I'll catch up," I told him.

"Are you sure?" He asked, staring down at Draco and I just nodded. He gave Draco one last look and walked off to catch up to Hermione and Ron.

"What do you want, Malfoy?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"One for you to stop calling me Malfoy. Two for you to stop hanging around that Potter. Three I was wondering if you could help me with my homework," he said.

"Well, Malfoy, no, I will not stop hanging around Harry!" I said pronouncing Harry's name more. And why should I help you? You're always mean to me. Get your girlfriends to help you,"

"Girlfriend? Who?" He asked. "And I asked not to call me Malfoy,"

"Pansy?" I said in an obvious tone. "What's gotten into you?"

He laughed and shook his head "Pansy is not my girlfriend. She wishes she was but I can't stand her," he told me.

"Okay, well I'm sure she would jump at the opportunity,"

"Please, y/n, just help me," he said, stopping us. We were the only ones in the hall outside the DADA classroom. "Look, I'm sorry for bullying you alright? Just please help me?" He said.

"Who are you? And what have you done to Draco Malfoy?" I asked in disbelief. I was skeptical of this. He could just be setting me up to humiliate me. It wouldn't be the first time. "Fine, but only until your arm is healed. Then just leave me alone. And if this is some plan to humiliate me I will let Lucas kill you," I said pointing a finger up at him.

"It's not. I just can't be falling behind. Father will kill me," he said. "And call...me...Draco," he said, getting closer to me with every word. I backed up and put my arm out resting my hand Against his left shoulder. "Fine, Draco. Now let's go in before we get in trouble for being late," I told him and we walked into class.

I looked around for Harry, Ron, and Hermione but could see them over everyone's heads. Draco leaned against a pillar and pulled me to stand beside him. There was a wardrobe in the middle of the room shaking around. As students gathered in front of it, chatting away. Professor Lupin was our new DADA teacher this year. We've had a new one every year.

"Intriguing, isn't it?" Lupin spoke. "Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what is inside?"

"That's a Boggart, that is," Dean Thomas said.

"Very good Mr. Thomas," Lupin told him. "Now, can anybody tell me what a Boggart looks like?" He asked.

"No one knows," I heard Hermione and looked to see her down front beside Ron. "When did she get here?" He asked.

"Boggarts are shapeshifters. They take the shape of whatever a particular person fears the most," Hermione explained. "That's what makes them so," she started but Lupin cut her off.

"So terrifying. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a Boggart," he explained.

"I saw Harry look over to Hermione then his glance moved up to mine. I smiled at him and he smiled back but it soon dropped as I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder. I looked beside me to the blond boy only to see him glaring at Harry.

I elbowed Draco in the ribs. Not hard enough to hurt him just enough to get his attention. "Knock it off," I whispered and shrugged his arm off my shoulder looking back at Harry who was now looking away. Ron and Hermione are now looking at me with a confused, bit disgusted look on their faces. I just shrugged my shoulders and went back to listen to what Lupin was saying.
