After classes were over we went to the Great Hall and watched everyone putting their names into the Goblet of Fire. I was sitting with Melina and Stella. Stella's brother Cedric was going to put his name in the Goblet of Fire, she was scared of him not wanting him to do it. "Come on, Cedric. Put it in!" His friends cheered. He ran up and dropped his bane into the blue flames and ran back as his friends greeted him patting him on the back.

I sighed and stood up to go over to Harry, Hermione, and Ron. "I'll be back, I'm going to talk to Hermione," I said and Melina nodded her head.  "We'll be over talking to Cedric," she said, taking Stella's hand and walking to him. I walked over to Harry and Ron. "Hey, guys," I said, smiling at them. "Hey, y/n," Ron greeted. Harry smiled and blushed a little "hey," he said. I heard yelling and turned to see Fred and George run into the great hall.

They ran over to us and everyone clapped for them. They high-fived a few of them. "Thank you," they said. "Well, lads, we've done it," Fred said. "Cooked it up just this morning," George continued. "It's not going to work," Hermione sang, looking away from them as she smiled. They both went and sat on either side of her. "Oh, yeah?" George said to her. "And why is that, Granger?" He asked.

She pointed to the floor around the Goblet of Fire. "You see this? This is an Age Line. Dumbledore drew it himself," she told them. "So?" Fred said. I stepped forward and put my hand on Fred's shoulder "so, a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled..." Hermione started until I cut in finishing her sentence. "By a dodge as pathetically dimwitted as an Aging Potion," I said. "Exactly!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Ah, but that's why it's so brilliant," Fred said. "'Cause it's so pathetically dimwitted," George finished. They stood up and stepped on the bench. They shook the vials on their hands. "Ready Fred?" "Ready George,"  they linked arms. "Bottoms up," they both said and took the potion together. Then they jumped into the circle. Nothing happened at first and people cheered. They went up to the flame and dropped their names in it and again nothing happened. But then the flames spread out, spiraling around and hitting them both knocking them back.

They hit the ground and when they sat up their hair turned white and they grew white beards. I laughed walking up to them and knelt. "Good job, boys!" I said and clapped them both on the shoulder before standing up again. They started fighting and rolling on the ground as everyone laughed. Everyone shut up all of a sudden and I went over to sit beside Hermione. I looked up to see Victor Krum walking on and up to the Goblet of Fire.

He turned his head and looked right at Hermione as he dropped the piece of parchment into the blue flames. I looked at her and nudged her. She looked at me "what was that?" I asked. "Nothing," she said quickly. They would be finding out who would be taking place in the Triwizard Tournament tonight.

Everyone stood around and talked as we waited for Dumbledore. I sat beside Melina with Stella on her other side. I was watching Draco talking to Goyle. "Keep staring and he might catch you," Melina said, making me jump. "I'm not staring," I said. Before she could say anything Dumbledore asked Everyone to take a seat. Draco sat behind me and I felt.... butterflies? What? No, I don't even like him like that.

Then someone sat on the other side of me. I looked out of the corner of my eye and felt my body stiffen. Of course, Jaxzon would sit right beside me. All of Durmstrang sat with us. I saw feet on either side of me and then someone pulled me back. I tilted my head back and looked up to see Draco. He had pulled me in between his legs, trapping me there as he glared at Jaxzon. I let out a sigh and looked over to Melina who watched until Dumbledore started speaking.

"Now the moment you've all been waiting for: The champion selection," Dumbledore said. He pointed his hand at the flames hanging from the walls and they all went out.  The great hall grew dark, the only light coming from the blue flames that twirled around above the Goblet of Fire. He circled the Goblet. The flames turned red and a piece of parchment flew up into the air. He caught it in his hands and looked at it.

"The Durmstrang champion is Victor Krum!" He yelled out. They all cheered as they stood up along with Draco and his goons. Krum walked down to Dumbledore and shook his hand before disappearing through the door off to the side.  Draco sat back down and pulled me back towards him again. The flame turned red again and a piece of parchment flew into the air. The champion for Beauxbatons is Fleur Delacour! Dumbledore announced and again people clapped and she walked through the door.

The flame turned red again and Dumbledore looked at the parchment. "Hogwarts Champion, Cedric Diggory!" He said and everyone cheered. I looked over to Stella and she was standing up clapping and cheering for her brother. Melina stood with her and I just smiled. Cedric shook Dumbledore's hand and quickly came over to Stella kissing her cheek and giving her a quick hug before disappearing with the others.

"Excellent! We now have our three champions!" Dumbledore said. "But in the end, only one will go down in history. The only one will hoist the chalice of champions, this vessel of victory... the Triwizard Cup!" He said and spun pointing his finger at a large beautiful cup that sat upfront. "Wow," I said.  Snape started slowly walking towards Dumbledore looking at the Goblet of Fire. Dumbledore turned around and the flames turned red, spitting out another piece of parchment. He catches it, mutters a name, and looks up and around the room. "Harry Potter?" He asked, looking around.

No way. There is no way Harry put his name in there. He couldn't have. How did he get around the age line? Hagrid stood up muttering no. "Harry Potter!"  Dumbledore screamed. Harry stood up and I watched in shock as he walked towards Dumbledore. He stood in front of him as Dumbledore stared at him with anger. He handed him the piece of parchment.

Harry looked at it and back at Dumbledore before he slowly made it up to the front to go through the door. "He's a cheat!" Someone yelled. "He's not even 17 yet!" Another yelled. Harry walked through the door as everyone watched him. I can't believe his name was put in the fire. I'm not sure if I should believe he did it or if someone else did it. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I looked up. Draco held out his hand and I took it standing up. "Come on, let's go back to the common room," he said and I nodded.

We walked down the benches and he grabbed my hand and started walking out of the great hall. We passed Jaxzon and Draco glared at him as he slammed his shoulder into Jaxzon's. We walked out of the great hall and towards the common room.
