"Alpha, kanina ka pa nakatingin dyan. Lapitan mo na."

I glared at Nico. "Shut the hell up."

Cedrick came to us, eating an apple. Of course, since he came here, he started eating apples for free. Shameless bastard. "Hina mo naman, Alpha. Guwapo ka nga pero hinahayaan mo namang may makalapit na isa pang guwapo sa asawa mo. Mamaya maagaw pa yan."

Yes! Cecelia's with that fucking Gio! Bisperas pa lang ng fiesta kaya nagluluto na sila lolo Tesyo. I offered help but he declined, saying we're their guests. We also watched a pig getting killed. It's quite satisfying to see it dies.

"Alpha, niyayakap si Cecelia oh!"

I'm trying to calm my fucking ass but the two are just making it worst! I wanted to kill Gio so bad but that's out of the line of me.

Confused, I turned to Nico again. "What the hell is selos?"

He gasped and point me out. "Walang halong biro, hindi mo alam 'yon?"

"Man.. what kind of environment did you experience while growing up?"

My eyes became lifeless, looking at Cedrick who's doing the same thing. "An environment with guns and killings."

He looked away.

"Yes, yes. So Alpha, ang selos ay isang damdamin kung saan ayaw mong malapitan ng iba ang asawa mo. Nagagalit ka o naiinis kapag nakikita mong may kausap o kasama siyang ibang lalaki maliban sayo."

Cedrick chuckled. "Feeling jealousy means having the urge of killing that someone who tried to invade your property."

"Speaking from an experience, Safyer?"

Binato niya ang apple sa mukha ni Nico. "Oh fuck you!"

Am I.. jealous? "W-why would I even be.. jealous?"

Pareho silang napatigil at hindi makapaniwalang tinignan ako na para bang isa akong alien na galing sa ibang planeta.

"You're seriously asking that? Hoy, Galbez! Tama 'yung narinig kong tinanong niya, 'di ba?"

Nico laughed at me like he heard a very funny question which is I asked seriously! "Alpha, amputcha!" He laughed again. "Hay.. nakakatawa naman." He sober up from laughing. "Ano pa ba ang dahilan kung bakit ka nagseselos?"

"Because.. I care?" Patanong kong sagot.

Cedrick tapped my shoulder. "Bro, you won't get jealous if you don't cherish her and cherishing her means you're loving her. You're in love with your wife, Ellis."

I blinked several times. I'm what?!

"At mukha ngang patay na patay ka pa e."

"That!" Bigla kong naalala ang sinabi ni lolo Tesyo. "What does 'patay na patay' means? The other day, before you arrived, Cecelia's grandfather scold her for joking at me. He also said that mukhang patay na patay ako kay Cecelia."

Nico just laughed while Cedrick chuckled.
