Mia couldn't see straight anymore. Her mind was numb and her body senseless. She felt so much pain that it became hard to tell where it was coming from.
When she peered down at herself, she saw a lot of blood. She snapped her eyes shut, unable to look at herself.
Dayu knew that no matter how much she tormented the pink ranger, a ranger would never turn their back on a ranger.
Dayu decided to accidentally kill the pink ranger while torturing her. This would make it seem as if Dayu was following Master Xandred's orders while she was truly following her own.
"I'll give you a chance right now." Dayu asked even though all efforts were futile. "Tell me!"
Mia glared at Dayu. Her eyes darkened with spite and determination.
"Don't look at me like that!" Dayu yelled as she clutched onto Mia's neck.
Dayu despised her eyes, nose, lips. Mia didn't deserve such beauty.
Dayu's cold fingers pressed into her neck, her nailing digging into Mia's skin.
Mia choked, desperately gasped for air as her body fought to stay alive. In a panic, Mia despairingly clawed and pounded Dayu's wrist to let her go.
Dayu needed to strip away her beauty, just as she was of hers.
Right as Mia felt herself slipping out of consciousness, Dayu dropped her to the floor. Mia coughed and wheezed as her system was once again exposed to oxygen.
The second she stopped wheezing, Dayu seized her neck once again. This time, her grip felt more deadly if possible.
Tears streamed down Mia's face as she feebly struggled for air. She had fought these tears, but no longer saw any reason to do so. How could she pretend that she wasn't in pain?
After Dayu relieved her neck, Mia tried to continue holding her breath to make herself pass out.
When Dayu noticed that she wasn't coughing for air after being choked, she punched Mia's stomach to make her gasp and hawk roughly for air.
Mia wanted it to be over.
Dayu kept repeating the process of letting Mia recover only to be restricted from breathing all over again.
She wanted the crushing agony and crippling fright to fade.
Even if it meant dying.

"Hey Em." Mike set down a tray of food on her nightstand and sat at the side of Emily's bed.
"Don't call me that." Emily was laying on her side, buried under the sheets.
Mike was hurt but tried to calm his emotions. Emily was grieving and he never had to feel that pain.
Mike had both of his parents, though he didn't get along with them much at all. He was a free spirit who didn't take much seriously before becoming a ranger. Of course, his parents weren't going to put up any money for a college education since he flunked high school. They moved out of an apartment and into the suburbs.
