25 - The Appeal / World of Pain 🔞

    Dayu left the ship after she was cleansed and bandaged in Mia's room. She couldn't stand the sight of Mia anymore and how she brought out her humanity.

    "What is a human doing here!" Master Xandred's voice boomed.

    Dayu brought the pink ranger to the ship so that Master Xandred could have the honors of killing her.

    Afterward, Dayu wanted to use her body to set a trap for the rangers. Wouldn't it be glorious for the rangers to leap with excitement at the sight of Mia's body, only to find that she is dead and they have fallen for her trick?

"Oo ah oo!" Octoroo sang. "This is the pink ranger! You would think as a human she would turn into a Nighlok. She's still human!"

    "Why is she here?!" Master Xandred raised his voice as if it would improve his headache.

    Octoroo had a different plan in mind her Mia. To Octoroo's allegedly logical brain, Mia had more uses than just luring the rangers.

    Mia had information.

    Octoroo knew that Dayu would never agree to try to extract information out of the pink ranger, however, this seemed to him a great chance at beating the rangers.

    "Oo ah oo! Great Master Xandred, the pink ranger is filled with vital information! What a waste it would be to kill her before taking it! Should we not interrogate her for the location of the ranger's family? Where the monk's temple is? The weaknesses of the other rangers?!" Octoroo appealed.

    If Octoroo could convince Master Xandred, then he could get his way over Dayu plan to kill her and prop up her corpse.

"Yes! We must at once!" Master Xandred burst out of the room with excitement. His aura was terrifyingly dark and fiendish although he was greatly weakened. "We can kill those rangers once and for all!"

"We need to keep her alive! She'll die like this!" Octoroo exclaimed.

"Keep her alive, make her talk, and kill that red ranger!" Master Xander spoke with a raging, booming voice. "After that, every single one of those rangers should be dead! There is no excuse!"

    The rangers snuck Antonio out by hiding him in plain sight. They dressed him up and helped him walk right out of the hospital.

    After they got far enough, all of them ran home, with Kevin and Mike carrying Antonio all the way.

    "Hey, where's Mia at?" Terry asked when they all arrived home.

    "She went to visit Mentor at the temple." Kevin spoke before any of the rangers could say anything. "It's dangerous if we all go together because we can attract Nighloks to the area."

    "Why Mia?" Terry asked.

    The yellow, green, and red ranger's eyes widened with paranoia. They instinctively looked at each other.
