Ni No Kuni was where Sirius's funeral was held. They couldn't hold it in the other world for fear of something happening to those involved with hiding Sirius.

It was held in the Hamelin auditorium, where they had an empty coffin. It was customary, that if something happened to the body of a passed loved one, they would fill the coffin with things that the person loved, and final letters to the loved one to honor their memory.

There wasn't too much they could put in for Sirius's coffin, as many of his beloved things had been lost to time. There were flowers laid in, and a prank book, and many many letters from all of those he had touched in his time.

The service was short, and it was simple. Harry had asked for it, feeling as though Sirius wouldn't want a large procession. He had nearly asked that there not be a funeral at all, but he knew that the others needed to process their own feelings, and it helped a little bit seeing how many people had cared for the man who called himself Harry's second father.

While in Ni No Kuni, Harry, Ron, and Hermione had all three decided it'd be their last time visiting, if not for a very long time. Things were only becoming more difficult back in the home world, and it wasn't right to leave their world the way it was without them there to help. So, they made sure to say goodbye to those they wouldn't see in the next school year, and to make sure they left everything on good terms.

And that included Aaliyah. Ron felt he needed to clear the air with her. Harry had already spoken with her before, and explained his feelings, or lack thereof. Now, Ron had to put his feelings out there for her, just to get them off of his chest.

"Um, Aaliyah?" He tapped her on the shoulder, earning a few dirty looks from the people she had been speaking to.

"Ron?" She turned to face him, and he had to blink a couple hundred times to make sure her Veela energy didn't distract him. How she looked so beautiful, even dressed for a funeral, he could never know. She wore a black ballgown with a white trim and long sleeves. Her normally bushy red hair was straightened and covered by a black veil that covered her face as well, but he could see through it enough just to see her attentive expression.

"S-Sorry, but could we talk?" He looked back at the others she was speaking to. "Privately, if possible?" She nodded, smiling a small smile.

"Excuse me." She told the others, before she and Ron stepped outside onto the steps. "You know, a queen's place is with her people during a crisis like this. I shouldn't be gone too long."  Ron chuckled a little nervously, unsure what else to do quite yet.

"Yeah, I could see that." Then he pushed his hair back out of his face, trying to pull himself together. "I-I just wanted to tell you something. Something I thought y-you should know before I go."

"What is it, Ron?" She asked, lifting her veil so her face was shown underneath, letting it rest on top of her head.

"I-I..." He cleared his throat. Nothing stopping him now! "I really like you. I have for the whole year. I thought at first maybe it was just because you were a Veela, but I haven't been able to drop them, not one little bit! And I thought you should know that." She stood there, her eyes wide, stunned silent. "I know you like Harry, so I know this probably means nothing to you, but I couldn't hold it in any longer." He turned and started to walk away.

"Ron!" She ran after him, grabbing his hand and turning him around, looking up at him. She took a deep breath. "You... you really feel that way?" He nodded, squeezing her hand tightly. Her eyes watered, then she blinked away her tears, before pulling out her staff. "I have an idea." She lifted the hand she was holding, and used her staff to make a small symbol appear. "That's the Gateway spell. So you don't forget it. I can come and see you, and you can come and see me." Ron's eyes went wide, looking up.

"You mean it?" She nodded, smiling at him.

"Yeah. Totally." She leaned up and kissed him gently. "I mean it. I mean, a Queen does eventually need a King, doesn't she?"
