"This isn't an easy one, you must think of the lost. Give of what comes, from such a sad thought."  Harmony read, then turned to the others. "Think of the lost?" The Doctor looked solemn as he thought, then he jumped up.

"Oh! Oh, I've got it! God I'm thick! Look at me, my head's not big enough, I need a bigger head!" He exclaimed, running his hand through his hair.

"Doctor, I think you've got a big enough head." Nichole snickered. The Doctor ignored her, then came running back over.

"Tears!" Esther raised her eyebrow.

"I'm sorry?" He looked at her with big wide eyes.

"Tears! Quickly, everybody think of the saddest thing that has ever happened to them, ever!"

"What's going on?" Aaliyah asked. Oliver jumped up, his eyes wide.

"I get it! Give of what comes from such a sad thought! Think of something sad, and give the tears that come from it!" The Doctor pointed at him.

"Yes, exactly! Now, go! Everybody, sad thoughts! I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry, but you've got to do it!" Everybody exchanged looks. Think of a sad thought.

"I don't think anyway can just do that." Swaine told him. "I mean, its not like its a fun thing to do." The Doctor clapped his hands together, unsure of what to do.

"I have an idea." Oliver told them. "I did this at a summer camp once when I was eight. A lot of the kids missed being at home, so we at in a circle together and told each other what made us sad about being away from home." Harmony nodded.

"Alright then, let's give that a try. In a circle everyone." Everyone sat in a circle, a little awkward and nervously. Nobody was really into sharing their deepest feelings with each other.

As soon as everyone had sat down, they all looked to each other. "Who wants to go first?" Nobody said anything.

"I'll go first." Esther told the others, then looked down at the floor. "Um, well, the saddest thing I can think of is my grandmother died about two years ago. She was a wonderful woman, my grandmother. I miss her dearly." She then wiped her eyes, then looked to her hands. "Nothing. Sorry." The Doctor sighed, then looked to the next person, who was Marcassin.

"You're next, Your Majesty." Marcassin sighed.

"I suppose, if I were to think of the sad things in my life were when Gascon left me right when our father died. And then of course, when I thought that Harmony and I could never be together. I mean, when Gascon left and Dad had died, I was all alone for years, and I wasn't sure what I was to do by myself. But, of course he came back, and brought me the love of my life." Marcassin smiled at Harmony, and the Doctor groaned.

"We don't need cheering up, we need sadness! We need tears!" The smile fell from Marcassin's face and he looked at the ground.

"My apologies." Then he looked to Nichole, who's face was completely pale. "Captain Swan? Are you alright?" She nodded.

"Yeah, I-I'm alright."

"Can you... think of a sad thought?" Martha coaxed. Nichole shook her head quickly.

"No, I can't, not one!" She told her. The Doctor, however, saw right through her, and came over quickly, crouching in front of her.

"Come on, Captain! not one? Loss of parents, a terrible death, abuse of any kind?" Nichole brought her knees to her chest.

"Please, don't make me relive those awful days. I can't go through it again. I'm happy now."

"Come on, Captain." The Doctor whispered. "Tell me your life story. Give me the sadest day you can think of." Nichole buried her face into her knees, and Swaine got worried. What was so bad she couldn't tell anyone about it?

"No, no no! I won't relive that awful awful day! I lost him that day!"

"Who'd you lose, Captain? Tell me, who did you lose?"

"Jack!" She shouted, glaring at him, hot tears filling her eyes. "I lost Jack! Jack was who I lost! I lost him on our wedding day!" Everyone but the Doctor gasped.

"That's right!" he whispered anxiously, his eyes wide and listening. "Tell me more! What happened to Jack? How'd you lose him?

"A woman appeared." She told him, trying not to cry out of habit. "I knew her well. She was called Captain Yuri, of the Eurastia. She had strange powers beyond even my understanding. She came to my wedding, and a huge storm came. She told me that she was sorry, and that I was needed somewhere else, before I was sucked into a portal, and into another world. I never... saw him again." She sniffed, and a tear slid down her cheek.

"The vial! Martha get the vial!" The Doctor shouted, and Martha ran for the vial next to the cauldron. "Come on, Captain. What else? Can you think of anything else? Who else did you lose?" Now that Nichole was going, she couldn't stop.

"My sister, Elizabeth, and my friend and her husband, Will. I never got to meet their child. My parents are gone, I lost the Pearl, everything I had... gone!" Martha handed the vial to the Doctor, who used it to scoop one of the many tears that were falling from her eyes, before she stood up and ran away, sobbing hard.

"Nichole, wait!" Swaine shouted, jumping and running after her, forgetting to call her Captain Swan. "Nichole!" Harmony jumped up and stomped over to the Doctor, who was grinning away at the tear.

"Doctor!" She shouted. The Dotor turned around, only to be slapped across the face! "You awful, horrible, selfish, man! Reducing someone like her to tears like that! That's horrible! That's terrible! That is brutal!" The Doctor's smile fell as he listened to Harmony yelling at him.

"We needed the tear for the potion! I've got to find my TARDIS!"

"I understand this, but I've seen Nichole's past!" Harmony told him coldly. "Her past is not one she can relive! If that TARDIS is so important to you, how about you think of your saddest thought instead of torturing other people with their own!"
