"Where's Aunt Karina?" Harry asked. Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Mrs. Weasley all exchanged worried looks. "What? What's happened to her? I thought she'd be here, I didn't see her all summer."
"Harry... We're afraid Karina's lost it." Ron told him slowly. Harry's eyes went wide.
"What?"
"After Sirius's death, she locked herself in his bedroom back at Grimmauld Place." Hermione explained. "That's why you spent the summer here, at the Burrow."
"She had told us that all she wanted was Sirius and... Well, someone else to come back and tell her everything was alright." Mrs. Weasley added, though Harry noticed the reluctance in saying who that "someone" was.
"Obviously, that didn't happen." Ron continued, Harry's heart filling with dread as he listened. "So, Mad-Eye, Dad, Remus, and Kingsley all had to go down there and get her out. She fought them tooth and nail, but they got her out. We couldn't just leave her locked up in the old place with no one but blasted Kreacher there."
"So where is she now?" Harry demanded, worried for the last of his family.
"St. Mungo's." Ginny said bitterly. "They put her in Spell Damage. I suppose they think she's gone mad. Where else would they put those who have gone mad?" Harry felt his heart sink to his feet. His aunt, his wonderful, intelligent, level headed, good hearted aunt, had gone mad with sadness. And why wouldn't she have, Seeing as she'd just lost the love of her life and her childhood best friend.
"I want to see her." Harry told them. "I want to get her out of there."
"Get her out of St. Mungo's? Harry, I don't know if that's the right think to do, during her current state." Hermione told him gently.
"She doesn't need to be in a place where they'll do all sorts of spells on her or talk to her like she's a child or bring her food to her in a padded room!" Harry told her. "She should be here, by people who actually care."
"Harry, don't think that Dad, Remus, Mad-Eye, and Kingsley didn't care." Ron told him. "Mad-Eye may have only been doing his job, but Dad, Remus, and Kingsley grew up with Karina. They thought it was best."
"Thought what was best?" They heard someone call. Mrs. Weasley ran to the door.
"Arthur, is that you?""
"Yes," came Mr. Weasley's weary voice. "But I would say that even if I were a Death Eater, dear. Ask the question!"
"Oh, honestly..."
"Molly!"
"All right, all right... What is your dearest ambition?"
"To find out how airplanes stay up." Mrs. Weasley nodded and turned the doorknob, but apparently Mr. Weasley was holding tight to it on the other side, becuase the door remained firmly shut.
"Molly! I've got to ask you your question first!" Ginny and Ron began snickering, and Harry could see that Mrs. Weasley's face had turned bright red.
"Mollywobbles." Whispered a mortified Mrs. Weasley into the crack at the edge of the door.
"Correct." Said Mr. Weasley. "Now you can let me in." Mrs. Weasley hurriedly opened the door to reveal and exhausted Mr. Weasley.
"I still don't see why we have to go through that every time you come home." Said Mr. Weasley, still pink in the face as the four teens tried to stop giggling. "I mean, a Death Eater might have forced the answer out of you before impersonating you!"
"I know dear, but its Ministry procedure and I have to set an example." Then he clapped his hands together, just noticing Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny. "Ah, Harry! I see you came early!" Harry ignored his friendliness.
"Why did you take Aunt Karina to St. Mungo's?" He demanded. Mr. Weasley looked up at him, shocked.
"What do you mean, Harry?"
"You know exactly what I mean." Harry growled, forgetting himself. "She was in pain, and you took her to St. Mungo's! We have to get her out of there!"
"Harry..." Mr. Weasley wasn't sure what to say. He didn't want to hurt Harry by saying she was mad, but he was sure she was. And the whole room knew it, including Harry.
"You think she's mad, don't you?" Harry shouted. "Everyone in this room thinks she's lost it!" Everyone looked away, unable to look Harry in the eye. "Well, we're still getting her out. As soon as possible, before we go back to Hogwarts! I want to know that she is safe, in this house!" Things were silent for a moment, then Mr. Weasley stood up.
"And get her here safe is what we'll do." Then he and Harry went over to the fireplace and grabbed some Floo Powder. Mrs. Weasley hurried after them.
"Wait! You're not going to St. Mungo's now, are you? Its past midnight!"
"Harry's right, Molly." Mr.  Weasley told her sternly. "This is not how we treat one of our oldest friends. We take care of them." Then he and Harry headed for St. Mungo's.

TWO POSSIBLE CHAPTERS! ONE PAGE! HOORAY!!

When they arrived at St. Mungo's, they found the night clerk dosing a little at the front desk.
"Excuse me." Mr.  Weasley said, and she sat up at once. "We're here to collect Karina Potter from Spell Damage." The clerk went through some files.
"Ah, yes, here she is. Said to have gone mad with sadness over the death of loved ones. Are you sure you want her out? She's been a bit wild since she got here." Harry stepped.
"Positive." The woman handed them some papers.
"Then, I'll need you to sign here, and I'll call her nurse to take you her." Mr. Weasley signed the papers, and a woman called Desra took them up to Spell Damage, where they again saw Gilderoy Lockhart acting a fool.
"Now, approach her calmly." Desra told them when they reached another door. "She's still very shaken up." Then she opened the door, and Harry didn't think anything could have been worse than the sight of his aunt then.
Her long black hair was matted and tangled, her face and body were covered with dirt as if shed been in a fight. She wore a dressing gown that looked like she had ripped it and she was thin. She was so thin, Harry could see she hadn't eaten much, as she lay, curled up and shivering on the bed. There were streaks on her face where tears had fallen, and she was awake, though she hadn't noticed Harry's arrival.
"Aunt Karina?" He said softly. She looked over, and sat up at once.
"Harry?" She gasped, and he nodded, smiling at her as she smiled back. "Oh my god! Harry!" She stood and ran over to him, hugging him close. He hugged her back, comforted by her warm embrace. "I thought I'd never see you again." She sobbed, and he felt tears hit the of his head. "I've lost my mind. I've been yelling for Sirius and for James since you left. I've been needing them to tell me its okay, without considering what you must have been feeling." She pulled away, looking ashamed of herself. "I mean, I just made you stay with the Weasleys all summer without saying a word of why and or what was happening! And then Remus and Arthur and all them brought me here, and I just..." Harry went over to her and hugged her again.
"Its okay. I'm fine." She hugged him back, more tears falling. "You're going to go and stay at the Weasleys. They'll take care of you, I know they will." She pulled away from him, looming frightened.
"The Weasleys? Harry, it was Arthur who brought me here!"
"Its also Arthur, who's getting you out." Mr. Weasley piped up from the doorway. Karina's arm immediately went around Harry tightly, as if Mr. Weasley was going to try and snatch him away from her. "Don't worry, Rina. I'm taking you back to the Burrow. You'll be safe there." Karina almost formed another smile.
"Rina. Its been a while since somebody's called me that. I've missed it, along with the word "safe" having the right meaning behind it." Harry chuckled, and the three of them left St. Mungo's.
