"Harry, out you come now." Remus called gently. "We have to get on with the plan." Harry peered over the doorway.

"Mum's still not here. She would want us to wait." He looked to Mad-Eye. "Did you find her? Or any evidence of where she might be?" Mad-Eye shook his head.

"We scoured the whole countryside, but not a trace of her. Whatever happened, its tracks are covered up pretty good."

"Do you think she was taken?" Ginny asked. "As an attempt to get Harry out in the open? She protected him pretty heavily."

"But why would they leave Sirius behind?" Ron wondered, eyeing the baby in Harry's arms. "I mean, that'd just give her more of a reason to want to come back."

"What do you mean more of a reason, Ron?" Harry asked shortly.

"I mean, if she was taken, she'd already be fighting tooth and nail to get back to you, Harry." Ron explained, realising he had misspoken a moment ago. "With both of her sons left without her, she'd face ten Voldemorts to get back to you." Harry held James tighter, picturing his aunt against ten Voldemorts, then thought about wisecracks she'd probably make while fighting them.

"Plans have to be changed now." Mad-Eye interrupted. "Without Potter, someone has to take the baby."

"I will." Harry said at once, but Remus shook his head.

"The Death Eaters would get too much of a pleasure chasing down both you and Sirius." Harry looked at Sirius, who had fallen asleep in his arms, and realised Remus was right. Harry, being Harry, would be the Death Eaters main target. Keeping Sirius with him would be like laying him in a bed of fire.

"Then Uncle Remus, I want you to take him." Harry told him after a moment. "You've laid your life on the line for us so many times before. I know you would protect him." Remus nodded with a determined expression, before gently prying Sirius from Harry's arms. "Now, everyone, I have the Polyjuice Potion ready." Harry looked at the grotesque brew Mad-Eye held in his hand with disgust. He had already argued and gave his opinion on people becoming him and flying out of the house where Death Eaters could be waiting.

"I still don't think that we should do this." Harry grumbled as he tore some of his hair out.  "I mean, this is different. Taking that junk and becoming me. That puts you all at more risk than I think any of you have been in!"

"Well none of us really fancy it mate." Fred told him.

"Yes, imagine if something went wrong, and we be stuck as scrawny specky gits forever." George added.

"Potter, for the last time, its been discussed!" Mad-Eye told him sternly. "Your aunt told me no matter what to get you out of here and keep you safe and goddammit, I'm not letting her down!" Harry jumped back, surprised by Mad-Eye's outburst. Mad-Eye got angry, but he had never seen Mad-Eye get mad at him like that before.

Of course, you had to remember that Mad-Eye had been working with Karina for years, even before Harry had been born. Mad-Eye had been working undercover with Karina trying to protect Harry and take out Voldemort since Harry had been fifteen years old, maybe longer. The whole time, Harry had thought that Karina was making Mad-Eye help her since he was a retired Auror and slightly eccentric, but maybe Mad-Eye actually did care.

"Alright then." Was all Harry said, and he dropped his hairs into the bottle, Mad-Eye watching with an air of surprise and a sense of urgency, before hurrying over to the others.

"Fair warning to those who haven't had Polyjuce Potion. It tastes like goblin piss."

"Have enough of that experience, do you Mad-Eye?" Fred asked, taking the bottle and earning a glare from Mad-Eye. "Just trying to defuse the tension." Then he took a sip and handed it off to George, gagging.

Soon, each one of them had taken a drink, Ron, Fred, and George getting a little shorter while Fleur, Mundungus, and Hermione got taller. Soon, they-

"Wow, we're identical!" Fred and George said, staring at each other. They had all turned into Harry!

They all dressed, then headed outside, where there were broomsticks, Thestrals, and Sirius's old motorcycle waiting for them. Harry climbed into the sidecar, turning around about twenty times in a minute just to make sure that Remus and one of the Harrys, he thought it was George, attached Sirius's special baby seat to their broomstick and stuck it between them, and sank down deeper into his seat, even though it was already a tight fit. His rucksack and broomstick were down by his feet, while Hedwig's cage sat between his feet, both Hedwig and Blackwing sitting inside. Harry wished that Sirius was with Karina.

"Or better yet, that Mum was here." Harry thought to himself, gripping her wand that he had found in the kitchen. It was all he had

"You alright there, Harry?" Harry jumped at Hagrid's voice, and he nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Hagrid knew he wasn't fine, but Mad-Eye didn't give him the chance to say anything.

"Good luck, everyone," Mad-Eye called out. "See you all in about an hour at the Burrow."

MARAUDERS

Karina didn't awake until late the next day, when she heard the creaking of the cell door gate opening. She sat up quickly, reaching for the wand that wasn't there.

"Relax, its only me." Came a soft whisper, and Karina furrowed her eyebrows.

"Who's there?" She asked, thinking she knew who it might be.

"Its me, Draco." Karina squinted her eyes, and could barely see Draco's bright blonde hair and his figure. She crossed her arms, trying to look tougher than she felt.

"What are you doing here? Your father too scared to show up himself?"

"No." Draco told her, and she heard the click of a bowl being set on the ground. "I came here on my own accord."

"What's this?" Karina asked.

"Food." He told her. "The Dark Lord told us that we have to keep you alive, but I don't know how well that'll turn out." Karina felt around and reached into the bowl to feel that there were cold, round things inside. "They're grapes. Its all I could grab with everyone around." Then there was a chink, and a noise like liquid being poured. "And here's some water. Again, its all I could get. Don't tell anyone. " Karina managed to crack a smile.

"Don't worry, I won't." Then Draco hurried away. "Draco." She heard his footsteps stop. "I knew that you weren't your father's son." Draco said nothing, but she heard the footsteps continue, and the door creaked shut. Karina ate two of the grapes and took only a sip of the water, before taking the cup and the bowl as far away from the door as she could feel. That way, is someone was going to take them, they'd at least have to come further in the room to get it.

Then she sat against a cold wall and brought her knees to her chest, thinking about Harry and Sirius. Were they okay? What had happened? Did the Death Eaters go back and attack them?

Karina hoped that Mad-Eye had gone through with the plan. She hoped that her boys were safely at the Weasleys, and that the plan had gone off without a hitch. She hoped that she would live long enough to see them again.
