"Authoress, are you sure?" Sammy could hear Aurelia talking in the other room as he, Karina, Diana, and Sam entered the hall. "I don't think that they'd be able to handle it." Sam listened to see if she could hear the Authoress, but she heard nothing. Maybe she was only talking to Aurelia. "Fine, I will tell them. They're right outside, yes?" Then Aurelia walked out into the hall.
"What was that about?" Sammy asked, and Aurelia composed herself.
"The Authoress feels that it is time to bring in some new characters." She said slowly. "And she feels that the best option would be to split you four apart and pair you with two other characters."
"What?" Diana gasped, and Aurelia nodded.
"The Authoress wants to pair the new characters with experienced characters. And, she feels that the characters she wants paired with you and Karina are going to make the story more... Interesting."
"So, Sam and I are staying together?" Sammy asked, and Aurelia nodded again.
"Yes, of course. She wouldn't dream of splitting you two apart. And Diana, since Karina is one of the youngest characters the Authoress has, she wants you to watch over her. Though there's still a decision the Authoress is considering for Karina." Karina went closer to Diana, feeling a bit frightened on the decision the Authoress was making, whatever it was.
"So who are we going to be paired up with?" Sam asked, and out of nowhere came four swirling tubes that shone a bright light, and from the tubes came four different girls. One has curly black hair and looked to be about the same age as Karina. She was wearing Hogwarts robes, and looked frightened.
Another girl had long, red hair that was dark it was almost brown, and she had a sprinkling of freckles across her nose, and she wore a long sleeved grey sweater and black leggings. She held out her wand threateningly.
The third girl had long black hair and brown eyes, her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She wore a purple top and a leather jacket, and she had her leg wrapped in a bright green cast.
The last girl had stringy, rusty brown hair and framed glasses. She wore a a white tee shirt with a pair of jeans, and she looked ready to beat someone up.
"Samantha and Samuel Manson, Diana and Karina Potter, meet Rosella Black, Belle Hara, Amber Blood, and Hayden Selser. The main characters of The Different Weasley Girl, The Beauty The Beat and The Potter, All My Friends Are Heathens, and Letters from Abigail."
"What the hell is going on?" The dark haired girl, Amber, demanded as she looked around, and Diana narrowed her eyes at her.
"Watch your mouth! There are younger children here!" Amber whipped her head around, too surprised to be angry.
"Who are you?" Sam stepped up, thinking maybe she should talk instead of Diana.
"Hi, I'm Sam." She told the girls. "This is my brother Sammy, and our friends Diana and Karina. Aurelia brought you here to help us save the world of books." The four girls looked at her confused. "There's no quicker, nor better way to explain it."
"I guess considering where I came from, I can understand that." Amber muttered, crossing her arms.
"I wanna make it interesting!" Came the Authoress's voice from Sam's head. "Can we please please please make it interesting?" Aurelia sighed.
