Diana watched as Harry flew through the rain, her heart pounding hard, when she saw black figures fly by, heading for Harry!
"Dementors!" She screamed, recognising them at once, before running to up the stands. "Professor Dumbledore! Professor Dumbledore!" She saw her headmaster look down at her from his high stand. "They're Dementors!" Dumbledore stood up at once, just as screamed rang through the stadium. Diana turned around, and saw Harry falling! He was falling out of the sky. "Harry!" She screamed, before running down the stands, over the dividers, and out onto the field, planning on catching Harry. It wasn't a good plan, but it was what she kept thinking. Save Harry. I have got to catch him. Don't let him hit the ground.
She reached the spot where he was going to land and threw her arms into the air, just as he landed on top of her and crushed them. She'd very much forgotten that there was no more lifting Harry now that he was thirteen and too heavy. She heard a snap from her left arm as his chest hit it, her other arm seeming to move on its own as it went around to her chest as she fell to the ground, knocking the air out of her and blocking her body from further damage, but that arm got cut up from a rock that was left on the ground when Hagrid had cleaned up the field so that if people did fall, they wouldn't get hurt.
But that didn't matter. Diana crawled out from under Harry and looked him over, using her right arm. His glasses had been taken off by the wind, and of course his hair was a mess, but it didn't look like he'd been hurt too badly.
People were yelling, some whispered, the Quidditch teams came flying down, Cedric holding the Snitch, but looking upset about it.
"Rematch!" He shouted. "That wasn't fair for Harry!" Diana admired his sportsmanship, but there was no doubt about it. Hufflepuff had won the match, fair and square. Even Oliver knew it, and he looked just as upset as Cedric about it. Maybe more.
Diana didn't want Harry to have to lay there while everybody stared, so she attempted to lift him, but it was no use. She wasn't strong enough.
"Hey! Can somebody..." Nobody could hear her. Fred and George had gone over by Ron and Hermione, and Oliver didn't look like he could lift a dandelion, let alone Harry.
That was when she felt a tap on her shoulder, and turned to see Cedric Diggory looking down at her. "Need some help there?" He asked, stuffing the Snitch away in his pocket. "I can help get Harry to the hospital wing." Diana nodded vigorously.
"Yes! Yes, please help me!" She begged, and Cedric bent down and took Harry into his arms like a baby, grunting a little, but managing. Diana found Harry's glasses and carried them, then the two went up to the hospital wing.
"Are you alright?" He asked as they walked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She told him, not realising that she was cradling her broken arm with her bleeding arm.
He smiled at her. "Really? Maybe you should have Madam Pomfrey take a look at your arms." Diana looked down at her arms, and nodded.
"Well, it definitely wouldn't hurt." She said, and they both laughed.
Unknown to them that Fred had seen, and had clenched his fists. He wished he had been the one to run over and help Harry and Diana, instead of Cedric stupid girl magnet Diggory. He had just been trying to get out of the way so that Professor Dumbledore could get to Harry.
He wouldn't let Diggory steal Diana.
