(I known this is a bit choppy and I forgot lines, but its only a rough draft!)

"There's my little Diamond!"
"Padfoot!" She ran into his arms, happy to be there. "Where have you been, Woof Woof?" He smiled down at her.
"I've just been away, Diamond. Lots of work to do for the Order, you know." She sighed.
"Stupid Order. Oughta just leave you alone!" He laughed again, squeezing her tight.
"Well then who would take care of you, your mum, Prongs, and Harry?" She just hugged him tighter, wishing the moment wouldn't end.
But it did. She felt his squeeze move to around her neck, and his warm hands became bony and cold as she was lifted by her neck into the air. She gasped and struggled, trying to get down, as a cold laughter rang through the air.
"You can't escape me every time, Potter!" The voice shouted at her. "You got lucky three times too many! And this time, dear Harry won't be there to save you!" She screamed, then felt herself being shaken.
"Diana!"
"Diana!"
"Diana!" She sat up with a start, and gave a shout as she fell off of the seat, and found she was not being choked, but had fallen asleep on the train.
"How long was I out?" She asked, rubbing her forehead, catching a glimpse of Mr. R.J. Lupin peeking through his coat at her before pretending to go back to sleep.
"A few hours." Hermione told her. "You started thrashing about, like you were having a nightmare." Then the train came to a stop, and Diana watched as the window froze over.
"What's going on?" Ron asked nervously. Then they watched as the windows to the corridors froze over, and a black, shadowy ghostlike thing appeared. It pulled open the door, and Diana gasped.
"A Dementor!" She breathed, almost hyperventilating. The Dementor paid no mind to her, Hermione, or Ron. Instead, it went right to Harry, and Diana nearly fainted as she watched it give her brother the Dementor's Kiss! She pulled out her wand.
"Expec... Expecto..." She tried, but she couldn't muster up enough of a happy memory with the creature in the room. "Expecto Patronum!" She tried, but only a little wisp came out. Then, a huge Patronus appeared, and the Dementor was chased out. Harry fell, unconscious onto the seat. Diana ran to him quickly as someone shut the doors to the compartment firmly.
"Harry? Harry! Please wake up, Harry!" Ron and Hermione came over.
"Is he going to be alright?" Ron asked.
"He should be okay." A fifth voice said. "Just a little woozy." Diana knew that weary old voice. She spun around, and there stood a man with wiry graying hair and ugly scars all over his face.
"You." She snarled. The man, Lupin, smiled at her pleasantly.
"Hello, Diana." Hermione and Ron looked between the two, puzzled by Diana's fierce expression and Lupin's serene one, glaring and looking at each other. Did they know one another?
That was when they hears grunting, and turned to see Harry had woken up.
"Harry!" Diana turned away from Lupin and went to Harry's looking him over for injuries.
"What happened to you, mate?" Ron asked him, but Harry had questions of his own.
"Who screamed?" The four looked to each other, then back at Harry.
"No one was screaming, Harry." Hermione told him gently.
"Here. This will help." Lupin handed Harry a bit of chocolate, then picked up his coat. "I'm going up to speak with the conductor." As he left, he looked to Harry once more. "Eat. You'll feel better." Then he shut the door.
"Oh no you don't!" Diana growled, picking up her own jacket and slipping it on as she dashed out of the compartment after him.
"Remus!" She called. Lupin turned and smiled at her again, but she did not return it. She stomped right up to him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "What the hell do you think you're doing here? Especially with Sirius Black on the loose?" She demanded furiously. Lupin (Quick note: has anyone else just had the urge to say Loopy Lupin? Just something that crossed my mind. Carry on, my wayward son) held up his hands in surrender, but still smiled calmly.
"Professor Dumbledore asked me to teach Defense of the Dark Arts, as I heard Professor Lockhart has yet to regain his memory." Diana narrowed her eyes at him.
"So you just happen to come along the same year that you're best friend who betrayed my parents and got them and nearly Harry killed escapes from Azkaban? How convenient!" She slammed him against the wall on the last word, making him wince. He slowly brought his hands up and gently pulled her hands down to her sides.
"Listen Diana, I know what you must think of me, but I promise, I'm here to teach and to help protect Harry. Do not worry about Sirius Black and my past." Then he left her standing in the corridor, fuming.

As soon as the carriages touched the ground, Diana practically flew out of them and towards Dumbledore's office, when she got stopped by Snape.
"Off to somewhere in a hurry, are we Miss Potter?" He inquired.
"I must speak with Professor Dumbledore." She told him urgently.
"I am afraid Professor Dumbledore has already left for the feast." Snape said in mundane way. Diana groaned and stomped her foot in frustration. "If I may ask, what is so important that it may not wait until tomorrow?" Diana sighed, not wanting to tell Snape, but knew she had to tell someone, otherwise it could be too late.
"Its the new Professor Lupin. He used to be good friends with Sirius Black, and I don't trust him to not help Black into Hogwarts and kill Harry! Not to mention what a bunch of parents would say if they found out what Lupin is!"
"I assure you, Miss Potter, Professor Dumbledore holds Professor Lupin in his highest trust, and therefore believes that you and your brother are quite safe here at Hogwarts. The guards of Azkaban themselves have joined us to surround the perimeter of the school grounds to watch out for Black."
"The guards of Azkaban?" Diana drilled. "The Dementors? Are you mad!? One of them tried to give Harry the Dementor's Kiss on the train!"
"Miss Potter, no Dementor shall be allowed on the school grounds. This includes the castle, the courtyard, the Quidditch fields, the greenhouses, and even that hut where that oaf Hagrid lives." Snape droned, making Diana's blood boil. She wanted to smack him, but she knew better and held her temper.
"If I hear that Harry is looked at by Sirius Black or even felt the breeze of a passing by Dementor, there will be hell to pay!"

Diana didn't speak to anyone after the feast, not even Harry. She just made sure that all the Gryffindors got into the common room and shut the Fat Lady's portrait tightly. She then checked to make sure all of the windows were firmly locked, impressing Percy Weasley.
"I must say, I am surprised that you didn't become a prefect with this sort of vigilance." He told her, earning a glare. She then tossed her hair and shut herself in her dorm, changing into a nightgown and sitting by the window, watching as the Dementors floated around outside the Quidditch fields.
"Diana? Are you decent? May I come in?" She suddenly heard an elderly voice call from behind the shut door.
"Professor Dumbledore?" She stood and opened the door, to find the headmaster indeed standing at her door, wearing a robe, slippers, and a nightcap. "Um, yes. Yes, please. Come in." Dumbledore entered the room and sat in a chair in the corner of the room, watching Diana with those twinkling eyes of his.
"I've caught wind from Professor Snape that you were unhappy with your new Defense of the Dark Arts professor?" Diana nodded, feeling a little guilty. "I remember many times that I received letters from your mother, hearing of visits from your Uncle Moony." Dumbledore smiled that warm smile of his, but Diana did not return it.
"That was a long time ago, Professor. Before Padfoot- I mean, Sirius Black, betrayed my parents and killed Peter Pettigrew. Now Remus is the only one left, and I don't even know if I've got him. After all, he and Black were really close."
"Ah, but your father and Peter Pettigrew were also quite close to Sirius Black and Professor Lupin. I must assure you, Professor Lupin is held as one of the most trusted men I know. He would stop time before betraying you and Harry." Then Dumbledore stood from the chair. "Now, I must take my leave. The other girls shall want their room back." As he turned to leave, Diana had one last thing to say.
"And the Dementors? What of them?"
"They're only a precaution." Was all he said, before shutting the door firmly, leaving Diana fuming.
