Me: Go away, Snape! You know I don't sleep well!)

"I can't believe it!" Sirius announced as he, James, and Remus came up to Karina and Peter. "A D! I got a D on my Herbology exam!" He flopped onto the grass with them, James and Remus sitting down next to him. "I don't know how you do it, Peter!" He remarked. "You make Herbology look easy!"

"Maybe you just need a little inspiration to do better in class." Karina tried. "You don't exactly have green thumbs there, Padfoot." Sirius gave her a look.

"How? I mean, its not like I've ever raised a plant myself." Peter's face suddenly lit up.

"Hang on! I might have something in my bag!" He reached into his bag and dug around a bit. "Ah ha! Here they are!" He pulled out a seed packet. "I got these when Lily took us all into the Muggle town! I was hoping to grown them for my mum, but you can have one, Sirius." Sirius took the packet and looked at the front.

"Forget-Me-Nots?" He asked. Karina peered over his shoulder too look at the picture of the flowers on the packet.

"Wow!" She gasped when she saw the blue flower. "They're lovely!" But Sirius just shrugged.

"I don't know. I mean, isn't growing flowers kind of a girly thing to do?" Karina gasped in anger that time, and shoved him over.

"Not at all!" She told him. Sirius groaned as he sat back up.

"Eurgh, okay!" Then he sighed. "Peter, can I borrow a seed? I guess I'm growing a flower!"

SKIP!!

Sirius never said it out loud, but overtime, he found that he enjoyed taking care of the flower. He watered it every single day, and gave it fertilizer. He asked Professor Sprout about a milling questions about it. He kept it in the window in the dorm so that it got plenty of sun. Sometimes, he even sang to it.

James was getting a bit annoyed with it, though. "I swear, he loves that damn plant more than he loves pranking anymore!" Karina laughed.

"Come on, James! It can't be that bad!"

"He named it Amrita and is using one of his blankets to keep it warm at night." Remus droned. "The plant apparently has a favourite song and he's read to it before bed. Its less of a plant, more a child at this point." Karina's eyes went wide.

"Okay, maybe it is that bad." Then she shrugged. "But then again, what does it matter? I mean, if Sirius is happy, then shouldn't we all be happy for him?" That was when Sirius walked by with a plate of food.

"Hey, Padfoot!" James called. "Want to sit with us today?" Sirius shook his head.

"No thanks, Prongs! I'm eating breakfast with Amrita this morning!" Then he hurried away, and James growled. That plant was getting on his nerves.

SKIP!!

James wondered if Sirius would notice if Amrita was gone, or if could tell the difference between his plant and another one. So, he sent for a Forget-Me-Not seed and used magic to grow it faster, before setting it beside the window and taking Amrita down by the Quidditch pitch.

Soon, Sirius came back up to Gryffindor tower, where he found James sitting on the couch.

"Hey, James." He called before hurrying upstairs. All James heard, was this. "WHO TOOK AMRITA!?"
