"James, let me go look for him, please!" Karina begged, but James shook his head.
"Karina calm down. Sirius is fine, I'm sure of it." But Karina was still nervous.

Sirius had gone on a secret mission for the Order and hadn't come back yet. It had been two days now, and Karina was panicking badly. If she lost any of the Marauders, she didn't know what she would do. So she had sent an owl to Remus, who brought her over to Godric's Hollow, knowing she would go crazy if she was just left alone, worrying. So she stayed at the Potters for the last two days, begging James to let her go out and find Sirius, but James wouldn't let her. He worried about her getting hurt, and if Sirius disappeared, then who knew what could happen to Karina.

Karina groaned at James's answers, and began pacing back and forth, feeling frustrated. Lily came back in with Harry, sighing when she saw Karina pacing.

"Come on now, Rina. Take a seat and calm down." She coaxed.

"I can't calm down, I'm too worried. What if he doesn't come back? What if he's lying somewhere dead, and I wasn't there to save him? What if-"

"What if the sky turns red and your nose falls off?" James asked her, stopping her pacing. "Rina, Sirius is fine. He knows what he's doing." Then he picked up her drink that she hadn't drank from yet. "Take a drink, sit down, and try to relax." Karina groaned, but did as she was told, relaxing at once after she took a drink. Remus could see a vial poking from James's pocket, and knew that he had slipped her a calming draught. This might make her fall asleep if it was strong enough.

James went over and turned on the radio softy, watching as Karina leaned back against the couch, her cup nearly empty already.

"Dada!" Harry suddenly yelled from Remus's knee, where Lily had left him. James went over to him, smiling, and sat beside Remus.

"Come here, Mini Prongs!" James said, taking his son from Remus and sitting down in his chair with him, and Harry went for his glasses like he always did. James leaned back in the chair, trying to get away from Harry. His prescription was too strong for Harry, and it would hurt his eyes. "No! Harry! Stop it!" He said, his voice straining a little.

"Dada!" Harry exclaimed, getting to his knees and trying to crawl up James's body to grab the glasses.

"Gah! Harry! No! Lily, stop him! Moony! Foxtrot! Wormtail, help!" But they were all too busy laughing at him.

"Get them, Harry!" Karina cheered sleepily, knowing that even though the prescription was strong, that would just mean that Harry would need glasses in the future and then he would definitely look like his father. "Get Daddy's glasses!"

Later that night...

Soon, everyone had fallen asleep, exhausted from waiting around for Sirius. Karina and Harry were both sharing James as a pillow on one end of the couch, while Karina's feet were propped up on Peter's lap on the other end. Peter had curled up on the floor, and Lily was sitting in the rocking chair.

That was when Sirius walked into the room, and smiled when he saw them sleeping, just knowing that they had been waiting for him. He went over to Karina and planted a kiss on her forehead, before lifting her head off of James, sitting next to him, then laying her head on his lap and him laying his head on James's shoulder and falling asleep himself, exhausted from the last two days.

NEXT CHAPTER!!

Karina took a deep breath and stretched as she woke up.

"Man, what time is it?"

"Nearly eleven o' clock." James told her, checking his watch, then seeing Sirius laying on his shoulder. "Padfoot. Mate, you're drooling on me." Sirius snorted and sat up.

"Sorry about that, Prongs." James yawned.

"'Is fine, Sirius." Then his eyes went wide. "Sirius!?" Sirius smirked sleepily, and Karina gasped, sitting up and staring at him.

"When did you get back!?"

"Last night. Sorry about the wait there, Foxtrot, but we had a bit of a problem with some Death Eaters and I wasn't able to get away. "

"Sirius is back!?" Peter asked, looking up at him. Lily and Remus both jumped up, Karina falling off the couch from Remus standing up. She squealed as she fell, and Sirius reached down and lifted her up.

"Goodness, its like you lot missed me or something!" He joked.

"Paddy!" Harry exclaimed, crawling off of James and onto Sirius, locking his arms around his godfather's neck. Sirius smiled at the small boy, glad to be back at home with the people he loved.
