Karina coughed, her face turning red and she stood up covering her mouth with her hand.
"Karina? Are you alright?" Hermionie asked worriedly. Karina nodded.
"E-Excuse me!" She told them, before hurrying to the bathroom. Harry stood and followed her. She'd been hiding something for a while now, and it was time he learned what it was!
Harry hurried after her, hearing the door slam shut and more coughing. As soon as the coughing had stopped, Harry knocked on the door softly.
"Aunt Karina?" The toilet flushed. "Are you alright in there?" At first, there was only the sound of water running from the sink. Then, came Karina's voice.
"It's alright, Harry. You can come in now." Harry pushed through the door find her wiping around her mouth with a washrag, a strong scent of vomit lingering. He crossed his arms.
""Aunt Karina, is there something you're not telling me? I mean, you've been getting sick nearly every day for the past three months, you eat any vegetable you can get your hands on, and you've generally just been really cross lately. Now what's going on?" Karina sighed and rubbed her arm.
"It's been longer than three months, Harry. It's been nearly five months." She told him, taking his hands. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a while. Something I wanted to tell you first, and haven't told anymore else. She moved her hands down to wrists, and sighed reluctantly. "Now, know that I love you very much, Harry. You've always been like a son to me, especially since you called me mum for nearly your whole life, and it's always made me feel wonderful. And know that what I'm about to tell you doesn't change a thing. Understand?" Harry nodded, unsure why she was telling him these things, until she set his hands onto her stomach, and he felt it.
A small thump.
"Is that..." Harry could barely form the words he was in so much shock. "Aunt Karina... Are you... You're pregnant?" Karina nodded, her expression going from sad and worried, to a smile.
"Harry, you're, going to have a new little cousin. His name is going to be Sirius James Black, named for his father and uncle." Harry raised his eyebrows.
"You know its a boy." She nodded.
"Pregnancy Potion." she explained. "I made it that day when I went home to grab something. The color of smoke that comes from it when you add some of your DNA into it determines the gender. Blue for boys, pink for girls." Then she sighed again and let go of Harry's wrists, rubbing her belly as he stuck one hand into his pocket and let the other one staying to feel little Sirius James's kicking. "I found out I was pregnant in the hospital, in Spells Damage. I knew that it was because of Sirius but it still came as a big shock. And the fact that Sirius is gone... I wasn't sure was to do. You and I, we were in such delicate states at the time. For you to learn this... I though that you might think that I was replacing you, or replacing Sirius." Harry shook his head quickly.
"Aunt Karina, you spent twenty years of your life dealing with my dad, and from stories I've heard he was a bit of an arse. Then you spent another almost sixteen years just taking care of me! Now, I'm going to help take care of you and Sirius II. Got it?" Karina's eyes with tears, and she nodded, smiling. She then went in for the hug, and Harry returned it, squeezing her tightly.
"Thank you, Harry. Thank you so much. My boy. My nephew. My son."
