Sam and Colby's video: OVERNIGHT Survival in Alaskan Wilderness (GONE WRONG)
Colby's POV:
I glanced at Sam and said, "What's up, guys-"
"-it's Sam and Colby," Sam and I said together.
I looked at the camera. "What's up, guys, it's Sam and Colby."
"We, uh, just wanted to make this video real quick before we get into the actual video," Sam explained, "because we have done a lot of haunted, a lot of scary overnight videos, but this was by far the most difficult overnight we've ever had."
"We're already battling nature and the Alaskan wilderness, plus we came extremely unprepared, although Jules was the most prepared out of all of us. We just didn't realize how extreme it was actually going to be."
"If we would not have had Timmy, who is the guy you're going to see in this video, helping us out, we could have been in some serious danger, which is especially concerning for Juliet."
"I feel like we could have actually died."
"We always talk about the explorer gods being in our favor because we get crazy, like, content out of it, but this video, it was just horrible luck. Everything went wrong."
I nodded once. "Yeah."
"And it kept going wrong. Bad thing after bad thing after bad thing and it didn't let up. It was painful and like, just, kind of overall," Sam let out a deep sigh, "um, shitty. I don't know." I chuckled. "We understand that, like, we messed up and we were overwhelmed, but hopefully you guys can get a laugh at us just failing miserably over and over and over again at every single task we tried to do."
"Yes. Take this as a lesson from us: Be prepared, be with a lot of people, don't ever try to do this alone."
Sam gestured to the camera. "With that being said, hope you enjoy our, uh, our horrible experience."
"And from our mistakes. And be nice to Juliet. Yeah, we see those comments."
---
"What's up, guys, it's Sam and Colby!" I exclaimed. "And the beautiful Juliet."
"Welcome to number twenty-one!" Sam cried.
"Yeah!" Jules and I cheered.
Nate came running up and knocked me and Sam down. Thankfully, he chose not to go after Jules. He definitely would have gotten yelled at for that.
Once we got up, Sam said, "Ever since we started YouTube, we have always thought it would be insane to try to survive a full twenty-four hours out in the wilderness."
"Just to let you guys know right now," I began, "it is negative, like, fifteen degrees."
"Colder than Boston in winter!" Jules yelled.
Sam chuckled and said, "We just got out of the car. We were literally on this highway," he pointed to an igloo, "and we saw this freaking abandoned igloo. Apparently it was a half hotel."
After getting some drone shots, I told the viewers, "Bad news. Already we were getting some drone shots and we already got the drone stuck in a tree."
"Nice job, Justin," Sam and Jules said.
Sam continued. "But while planning this video, we realized that there is a high probability that we would die on our own."
I nodded slowly. "A hundred percent. Which Jules was not pleased to hear."
"So-"
"Easily, yeah," Nate agreed while Jules nodded.
"We reached out to our friend Timmy," he gestured to said person, "to come out here and help us out."
