I glanced to Jules and said, "Frank contacted me and wants to do a video with us. Apparently Jessie is going to join us."
"Let's do it. It's been awhile since I collabed with Frank and Jessie."
Before we did the video, we did a Hot Topic run. It took about two hours because Jules decided to do some shopping.
While we got ready, Jules gave a small smirk. "I think I know what your video's gonna be Frank. A try not to cringe emo musical.ly, right?"
He just smiled and we decided to do Jessie's video first. She was doing a Hot Topic haul. Jules had, of course, gotten band merch, and had found some Phineas and Ferb stuff. Jules was planning on giving away a We the Kings shirt. Since she already had it, she didn't feel like she needed two of the same shirt.
I pulled out my phone and decided to play Welcome to the Black Parade. Frank had mentioned the G-note, and frankly, I wanted to see how Jules would react. As soon as the two of them heard that first piano note, they both jumped, and Frank knocked something over. Jules looked close to crying as she frowned. "Who was that?"
Her eyes drifted to my hand, still by my phone, and she glared at me. "You. How dare you."
"Sorry, babe. I wanted to see your reaction. And Frank's."
She took my phone and said, "Because of that, you lost your phone privileges for the videos."
I pouted and she shook her head. I knew she wouldn't relent.
My video was an emo transformation. Frank screwed up my eyeliner, and my lashes started sticking. I noticed Jules biting back a laugh and I glanced to her. "What a sweetheart. Babe; you'll help me get this off, right?"
Jules shrugged. "Depends. If you're nice to me and if I feel like it."
Jessie laughed. "Juliet's savagery is unmatchable."
I gestured to Jules. "My lovely girlfriend, ladies and gentleman."
Jessie smiled. "Don't they look adorable."
Frank's video, as Jules guessed, was a try not to cringe musical.ly challenge. Jules clapped. "Finally! I've been wanting to do one of these with you for awhile. Oh, jeez. This is gonna be so much cringe. How much do you think they'll ruin Twenty One Pilots? I hope they don't ruin MCR or Panic!."
Frank sighed. "There's going to be a lot of ruining of Twenty One Pilots. I agree with you. Hopefully they don't ruin MCR or Panic!. They should not be touched. Neither should Twenty One Pilots, but that's too late. You know, I've never seen you in a compilation."
Jules smirked. "Either I'm not cringy, or I don't do them. Guess which."
"Um, you don't do them."
Jules nodded and said, "Bingo. Now, do your video. I want to get my cringe on."
He started the compilation, and a girl ate soap. Jules frowned. "Guys, Frank's told you time and time again. Stop eating soap. It's so bad for you!"
"Don't eat soap, kids!" I added.
Juliet's video was a guess the emo quartet instrumental. She started the video and said, "Okay. We're doing a guess the emo quartet song from the instrumental. We have ten seconds to guess the song. That sounds like a long time."
She listened for a moment and almost instantly yelled, "Forest!"
The second song played, and Jules and Frank cried, "Mama!"
Jules added, "This song is so dark and creepy, but so freaking good."
Song three played, and we instantly yelled, "20 Dollar Nose Bleed!"
The next song played and Jules and Frank both grimaced and said, "Don't you dare."
Jules then said, "Okay, good. I Have Friends in Holy Spaces. Those last freaking 30 seconds. My poor little heart can't take this pain."
Jessie patted her back and I kissed her head.
Throughout the video, Jules kept getting all the answers right, and Frank missed some. He started directly into the camera and said, "I got them all right cause I'm an emo god."
My girlfriend smirked. "But I'm an emo goddess, and I didn't miss one."
Sensing an argument could break out, I pulled Jules back and said, "Chill, Party Poison."
She sighed. "Very well, Fun Ghoul. Whatever you say."
"Whatever I say?" I teased. "I like this answer."
"Don't take it in a way it's not supposed to be."
Frank, meanwhile, was grinning. "Your nicknames for each other are really cool."
Jessie was smiling and said, "You two are really cute."
Jules did her outro and turned off her camera. She then plopped on the couch and nearly fell asleep. She hadn't been sleeping well the past couple of days because she'd been up late editing and pain and sickness had kept her awake. She was also still kind of sick.
We headed back to my car and Jules said, "Can we stop by a drugstore? I ran out of cough drops, and you guys don't have the kind I like."
"Sure thing."
I did as she asked and she bought honey lemon cough drops. Almost instantly, she took one and tried to hold in her cough, but couldn't. "I wish this would go away."
"I do too. I don't like how it sounds."
She glanced at me. "You still have Nyquil, right?"
"I should, yeah. Are you wanting to take some tonight?"
"Mm-hmm. Otherwise I'll be up half the night coughing."
We got back to the house and Jules took some Nyquil, and I tucked her in on my bed.
I grabbed a blanket and settled on my couch. Soon, I heard my girlfriend's soft snores and I fell asleep soon after.
Maybe a couple hours later, I heard soft whimpering and got off the couch and laid next to Jules. I wrapped an arm around her and after a moment, she quieted down. It honestly baffled my mind that I was able to calm her down.
