Juliet's POV:

The hiatus the boys and I took lasted a month, which was super refreshing. I spent about two weeks back home, missing both Coachella weekends.

I knew Colby would have liked me to join him, but I had no interest in going and he got that I wasn't ready to come back yet. After all, those boys, as much as I love and care for them, caused me a great deal of stress. The panic attacks, for one thing, but I don't totally blame them.

Colby clapped his hands loudly, startling me. "So, my dear, now that we're back, how would you like to leave California?"

"And go where?" I asked.

His eyes glistened excitedly. "The Stanley Hotel."

"The Stanley?"

"What other Stanley?"

I nodded excitedly. "I'd love to go!"

"Good, cause Sam and I already bought five tickets."

"Five?"

"The whole gang. You, me, Sam, Corey and Jake."

We picked up Jake and Corey, surprising them.

Colby explained why they were here, that they were back on YouTube and going to the Stanley.

I jumped excitedly and Colby laughed. "She had a similar reaction earlier."

Corey's reaction was what I expected. Jake, like me, shares a love of The Shining.

Corey walked out of the room and Colby said, "This is why we picked him up?"

"So he can't drive home," Sam replied.

Our flight was booked for seven in the morning and I shot Sam a dirty look. "This girl needs her beauty sleep, Samuel."

Jake said that breakfast was on Sam and Colby, to which Colby said he'd buy iHop and coffee for me.

Sam and Colby, and occasionally me, explained what happened. I was sitting on Colby's lap, since there was no room on the couch.

Jake and I started saying redrum.

Sam told us the haunted room was 217 and the fourth floor.

Sam read about the vortex and I nodded. "Yeah. It's a legit thing."

Corey glanced at me. "You've been there?"

"Once, yeah. We stayed on the first floor, never did a ghost tour. But on the staircase, I got some weird feelings."

Colby pulled up a video of Lucy's spirit closing a door. She'd died due to the freezing temperatures.

Sam told us that Lucy liked to move candy. He then said we hired a psychic who'd be coming in 15 minutes.

Corey and I stood up and I frowned at my boyfriend. "I don't--"

"Babe, think about it, okay? You can always refuse."

The psychic walked in and she introduced herself to the boys before smiling at me. "I'm Nadia."

I didn't offer my hand, as I was wary.

"No need to worry, dear."

I nodded slowly and brought my hand forward. "Juliet."

"What a beautiful name."

Sam asked us if we'd ever been read by a psychic before, to which our answer was no. Corey had been read by a psychic a few times. Jake and I hadn't.
