Juliet's POV: (May 2017, Starting with Elton's petting zoo prank)

We'd all gone shopping. Colby insisted I get a cowboy hat, but I refused. Instead, I was insistent on going into Hot Topic. I swear, that's like the only store I'm willing to go into. Spencer's is only if I'm in the mood.

Colby held up a Twenty One Pilots shirt. "I don't think you have this one yet."

I studied the shirt. "Actually, I do. But, I don't have this one. Mmm. We should swing by Target. I need to get some things."

"Some things like?"

"Personal things."

"Like?"

I rolled my eyes. "Girl things."

His cheeks turned red. "Oh. Oh! Um, okay."

I laughed at how awkwardly nervous he had suddenly gotten.

I picked up what I needed from Target and as we all drove back to the house, I saw a trailer. "Boys? Devyn? Any idea?"

They all shook their heads and several said, "Oh, God."

Thanks to the trailer, and Aaron being stopped by Uncle Elton, Aaron had to leave his car outside the gate.

We climbed out and everything seemed suspicious. Clearly Aaron thought so as well. "Does it have something to do with this truck?"

Elton started laughing. "I forgot that was there."

Colby studied Elton's outfit. "Why are you dressed like a cowboy?"

"That's how we dressed in Kansas." Sam said.

"You're dressed like my ancestors."

"Is there a particular reason you're in overalls and a straw hat?" I questioned.

"And I'm back too." Scotty said, making his presence known.

Colby frowned. "If he's back, I'm scared."

Elton gave us all a smirk. "All I have to say is if you start bleeding through your mouth, something went horribly wrong."

I narrowed my eyes at him, trying to figure out what he had done. I think the most frustrating thing is that I couldn't read him. It was like when I was up to something. He gave nothing away.

Corey's eyes widened and he said, "Wait, what if this is just like a disguise, like what if he put the straw and we just open the door..."

"And we just get smacked?" Colby interrupted.

"Another smack cam?" Corey clarified.

My glare deepened. "Elton, there better not be another smack cam."

In return, his smirk deepened. "Why don't you find out."

Colby directed his attention to Aaron. "Wait. Is he in on this or not?"

Aaron glanced at us. "I'm with you guys."

"He just got back from the stagecoach." Elton said, referencing Scotty. "He didn't change at all."

We walked slightly closer to the front door and Colby said, "There's got to be some kind of animal in here."

Corey frowned. "You said you were...he said...he said he was getting a lion!"

I pouted. "Better a snake than a lion. Or a wolf. That'd be cool."

Colby glanced at me. "Your Slytherin is showing."

"Yeah, so..." Elton began.

Corey interrupted him. "Oh! You got a lion!"

Colby's voice took on a tone of panic. "There's not a lion in there, is there?"
