Prologue: Prior to Juliet's Arrival

Colby's POV:

While Elton was hanging out with us, he said, "So, we just moved into a house, but there's one more person on the lease who hasn't arrived yet. There's someone I know in Boston who's planning on coming out to LA in early March."

I looked up at my uncle. "Who?"

Elton showed us a picture and he answered, "This is Juliet Griffin. She's been in some of my Vines. Not sure if you remember."

Sam nodded. "Yeah, we remember. Colby's got a little crush on her."

I pushed him and said, "Shut up!"

Sam just shrugged. "You do. It'll be obvious when we see her."

Corey sighed loudly. "Anyway, what about this girl, Elton?"

"I asked her if she wanted to move into the house with us, and she said yes. I wanted to see if it was okay with you guys."

Corey nodded. "I'm cool with it. Another girl for Devyn to hang out with. What do you know about her?"

Elton was silent for a moment. "Well, uh, she's from Boston. She's got a couple siblings, didn't specify. She listens to a lot of emo music, she likes sports, um, that's about all I know about her."

I smiled. Based on Elton's description of her, we'd probably get along well and would bond over music.
