Day 3
The next morning, we made our way to a sanctuary to play with hedgehogs. Jules immediately gushed and started petting it. "This is Gerard Sonic. Or Sonic Gerard. Which sounds better?"
"Sonic Gee sounds like a pretty cool name." I suggested.
She thought for a moment. "I like Gee. Sonic Gee is his full name, Gee is a nickname."
Elton sighed. "Is that another reference?"
Jules just smirked. "Yes it is. I'm not sorry. Elton, do you think Circa would like a new friend?"
"Probably not. Especially not a hedgehog."
"Fine. Maybe I'll get a kitty."
"I don't think Circa would appreciate a cat either."
Our next location was Robot City. Jay and Brennen gravitated towards the tall statues of girls with rubber boobs. Jules rolled her eyes. "This is what I live with."
The place we walked through looked like the Rainforest Cafe. Jules kept blinking, and I figured her eyes were adjusting to the light.
Jules repeated what Elton had told her; that we'd be seeing a robot show. None of us were sure what to expect. I had a feeling this would be strange and cool. Juliet's eyebrow lifted as she looked at the program. "I have no idea what to expect, but this will certainly be a strange experience. Jackson might find it interesting. Maybe I'll snap some for him."
"You should. From the little I've seen of your brother, I think he'll definitely find it interesting."
I haven't met the rest of her family yet, but we planned to do so in October, assuming we were still together before we went to Egypt.
The show started and drummers came out, as well as people wearing masks. Jules had a permanent eyebrow raised, showing her confusion. We were yelling out various things while Jules stayed quiet. A robot who had a controller walked out to the stage.
A dance battle began, and I started dancing and made Jules dance before she started doing so on her own. There were vendors walking around asking if we wanted something.
Race came up, and Jay made a comment how he was the only black guy. He tended to make a lot of comments like that.
The show stopped for an intermission and chains were placed in front of the front seats to protect the audience. One of us joked about how kinky the next act would be and Brennen made a sexual joke, causing Jules to blush, and then he apologized for ruining Elton's "clean" channel.
Jules stared at me and Brennen and said seriously, "The sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead."
Brennen frowned. "What song is that?"
"The Sharpest Lives. Great song. Give me a shot to remember."
We turned back to the stage and saw a ninja turtle kill another character. I started screaming in confusion, Jules was confused, and Brennen and Jay were laughing. I wasn't sure what Elton was doing. A dinosaur appeared and Jules gasped before whispering in a loud tone, "Jurassic Park."
A girl died in the dinosaur's mouth and Jules then said, "Rip to that girl. Dinosaurs are dangerous."
Jurassic Park music then started playing, and Jules grinned excitedly. "Okay, did I call that, or did I call that?"
I wrapped an arm around her shoulders and said, "You called it, Jules."
Brennen wiped his hands and it quickly became sexual, which wasn't surprising.
