[Another chapter, because why the heck not?
I seriously love Juliet so much. And Sam is so thoughtful with something very specific.
Enjoy! 🖤😊]
Sam's video: This game was a big mistake.
Sam's POV:
I started my video. "All right. Last week, I got my friend Corey a new iPhone. So it's been approximately one single week since he's had it. I decided today I'm going to take his iPhone, crack it, and throw it in the pool. Because why not? That's just what good roommates are for. So, I'm gonna get Colby and possibly Juliet to help me out. We're gonna take his phone, prank him into thinking we actually did it, but in fact, I have a decoy phone," I held up the decoy, "that doesn't actually work. So I'm just gonna chuck it in the pool. Let's see how he reacts."
I made my way to the kitchen. Juliet was there making one of her Boston sandwiches and I gave her a small nod, letting her know it was time.
"Hey dude," I greeted.
"Good morning, brother," Corey replied.
"I wanna show you something. Can I see your phone?"
"Yeah."
Corey handed me his phone and I turned it off before running out to the backyard.
I stood next to the pool as three of my roommates joined me outside.
"Sam," Colby and Juliet called.
"I'm sorry I had to do this, brother," I said.
I hit the decoy phone on a rock and dropped it into the water.
"Oh, shit!" Colby said.
Corey's eyes widened and his mouth gaped. "What the fuck?"
"Brother."
Juliet sniggered, most likely amused at the entire situation. This was certainly devious enough for her to enjoy.
"You did not just fucking--" Corey began walking towards me. "There's no fucking way--" Corey looked down. "He got me that fucking phone just so you could break it."
"You think I really got you that?" I asked. "For nothing?"
"That was the plan all along," Colby said.
Juliet laughed evilly, freaking Corey out.
"Dude, that is so mean!" Corey cried.
"Maybe it's not cracked," I told him. "Maybe it'll still work."
"I was on our TikTok account. I was looking for a TikTok to do."
"Follow the Trap Boys, you know what I'm sayin'?"
"And now I can't. 'Cause my old phone doesn't even fucking have speakers."
"You can, brother." I pulled out his actual phone. "You can still call." I handed him his phone.
Corey turned the phone on and started laughing.
"Oh, my God!" I said.
Corey smiled as he replied, "I was like, Sam is a fucking asshole."
"I know," Colby agreed.
"I was like, so happy for a week."
"A week?" I placed my hands on my chest like a mummy. "He was like, oh, my roommate did something. No. Fuck you."
"I mean, I'd expect something like that from Juliet, but not you, Sam."
Juliet clapped her hands once. "Now, if you gents will excuse me, I have a sandwich to get back to."
